Hi  Welcome to MFP! I'm not from Norway but I am over there quite a bit for business as my company has their Head Office over there. Good luck with your goal - it seems tough at first, but you WILL get there! You've made an amazing start already! Well done!

Would love to be part of this as saw amazing results from my first round of the original P90X... Although they are not advertising P90X2 on the BeachbodyUK site yet and although the US site says they'll ship for free, I'm not prepared to pay all the import duties...I've been hit by those a lot recently ordering things from…

Great links, I love reading those sorts of stories. My other half calls the skinny-fat sort of people "skinny jabbers" .... they look okay in clothes, but you wouldn't actually desire their bodies as there is no definition and you know they get that way through eating next to nothing rather than a healthy workout plan!…

I think you should just enjoy yourself. One week is not going to kill you - I can't see you doing that much damage. As others have posted before, just try to make healthy choices - and avoid alcohol - total wasted calories and your body will then burn that off before anything else you've consumed. Oh - and Happy Birthday…

 I am an animal lover!! Sadly, I don't have a dog though! I would REALLY love one - and we have seriously considered the idea several times over the past couple of years, but with the nature of my job at the moment it's too big a commitment! I have two gorgeous cats though! And play with them and their 'goldfish…

 Bless you, very tactful! My other half keeps on telling me that Kelly Brook "never goes to the gym and maintains her womanly curves through lots of 'private time'" ...I think he's hopeful I will adopt her 'workout schedule'

I do 30 day shred with 5kg weights... but if I am honest, even struggle with my 3kgs during 6 week 6 pack (esp Level 2!) Like you, I can lift much heavier weights (in P90X, CharLean Extereme etc) but it's not about the weight at all...you really just need something to give you a bit of resistance. I think even go lighter…

That's very hard to say...it depends on the person... I am 5.9" and wear a UK 8/10 which is pretty close to what you describe. I would say I am pretty "average" so that's what I'm going with.

I really love my smile  It's always been my best attribute. Although guys have always said I have super long sexy legs too... Now if only I could sort out everything else in between I could quit whinging!! Great post though...it is nice to think that it's not all doom and gloom from time to time!!

Pringles!! "Once you pop you can't stop" is not just a marketing slogan...it's the truth. Much safer not to "pop" in the first place!! I actually get very cross at my other half if he buys any "naughty" snacks at all now, sweet or savoury.

Last year when I went to Singapore for nearly 3 weeks, I did not log at all. I do not believe that is what a holiday is about! I am OBSESSIVE at home, I think 24/7 about calories and fat content and exercise - I need a break from that for my own sanity. I ate like a complete pig (I mean come on...the food was…

I know there are arguments for both. Just do what fits with your schedule... Personally, 95% of the time, I get up at 5.30am to workout before work - purely because I know that after a day at work, I will be tired, grumpy and hungry and there will be a million excuses not to work out... Having said that...today is one of…

Haha, right on!!! That's always what I think too! I could put an educated, considered comment to respond - but no....what always springs to mind is sure, it's a nice feeling when you feel slim - but it's so much nicer sitting in a fancy restaurant devouring yummy treats! (Of course...in moderation!!)
-
Assuming this is a one-time-thing, I don't think you will have done a huge amount of damage... I will probably get shot down over this, as it's purely my opinion and not based on any fact - but I eat super carefully 99% of the time - if I have an occasional blow out day (last one was May...my mum's wedding....I think I had…

I swear by it!! Honestly, it's fantastic stuff! My other half was always telling me to have more protein and I really think it was one of the things which helped me to reach my goal weight. I can't go a morning now without a shake! Mmm! The only thing I would say was that I have been having the Sculptress Shakes…

Oh no...I can see this website becoming my latest obsession! haha. Thanks for sharing!!

You can do it!! But the only person who can is YOU! No one can make you... If your heart isn't in it - it's difficult, but the one thing I would say is take it one small step at a time. Try and do everything at once and you'll give up after a couple of days because you'll feel tired, hungry and miserable. For example...I…

I usually eat the skin if I take the kiwi to work for a snack...I don't mind either way really. It certainly won't do you any harm. My granddad used to say it was "good roughage"

OMG! I am so happy to hear someone ask this question in a way that mirrors exactly my own feelings!! :blushing: (...Well, not that I ever had good boobs...but I had adequate ones and now I look like a pre-pubescent girl!! 32A and it makes me want to cry!!) I am also scared to take the plunge...money (a big one!), the whole…

My tipple is Gin & Slimline tonic. Ahhh lovely...and only 56 calories!

Sorry...never tried it, but would be interested to hear what others have to say... I'm at my goal weight but still hate my tummy (little bit of pooch still and a little too much skin! Bleugh!) so would be keen to give something like this a shot!

Do you set your own goals or have MFP set them for you automatically? I find when the program was "auto generated" I was always over on protein...but that was my aim...protein is good and my partner is always encouraging me to eat more of it. I've re-adjusted my goals to 35 protein/25 fat/40 carbs and it seems to be much…

HAHA! Oh that's fantastic!! What a great story...that'll teach him not to be so smug next time and show a little more support!

I agree with those who have said it doesn't matter which you use. So long as you pick one or the other - and stick to it - then it is an accurate record of your weight and your loss. (Sounds like the wii is a better option for you than the scale if yours varies that much!) I use the wii to weigh in... The Wii says I am one…

 HAHA! Great post....and a great (double) workout! Well done you!

Ooh, I had to read this post! I think I daydream everyday about being a millionaire... Agree with what's already posted...I would get a personal trainer. I want to have achieved the rock hard body all on my own (but having the time to do so - not having to be at work all day - and someone to kick me up the butt…

Hmmm, I guess I have always over eaten - I just never recognised it because I have always been healthy. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I have always eaten balanced, nutritious meals - with a good mix of lean meats, masses of salad and vegetables etc.... My downfall was complete obliviousness (is that a word?) to…

Wow...the answers are certainly very varied! Great question by the way...I always wonder by how much I overspend!! There are two of us, and two cats  We spend around £65 per week on food items only. I'm aware this is quite a bit, but we eat well so I'm not too keen to change - decent quality lean meats and…

I cook every day...I absolutely love being in the kitchen! I have only ever once logged cooking though - I just feel it's a bit of a cheat. The time I did, it was a fancy dinner party, I was super stressed and was in the kitchen from 6am until I dived in the shower at 7pm just before the guests arrived! I thought I would…

Hi  I'm currently nearing the end of my first round of P90X (classic) ...I've only lost 1kg during the whole program - but like you, am much smaller in my clothes! My partner, who has been doing it with me though has gained 1.5kg!! I really think it is due to muscle weighing more though - because again, he looks…
