You look wonderful! I totally agree that free weights are where it's at! Nicely done!

Totally agree! Congratulations!

Amazing transformation! My highest was 215 lbs. (I think... I stopped getting on the scale for a while there) in my early twenties. Then I bounced around between 170-185 lbs. for years and thought it was my "normal" weight, so I totally can relate to you there. I'm 5'8" (scraping 5'9") and now fluctuate between high 130's…

This... I've had to scrape for everything I have and I still want more! LOL It won't happen over night, so go for it and re-work your training schedule if you feel like it's needed!

If I take it all the way back to my highest weight in my twenties... a gold brick. It's what I've gained however, that's been worth it's weight in gold!

I'm eating 15% below TDEE (approx. 1800 cals/day) but have the workouts logged in as cardio workouts that I've labeled for each individual routine. I only claim 1 calorie burned for each of them, but I like to keep track of my activity out of habit.

This. I finally started seeing results once I dropped my gym membership over three years ago!
-
Yup. Not only does it help with my cramps and bloating, but it helps to "Leave the b*%$# gasping and panting on the floor" so I don't get edgy with my kiddos! Everyone is different, but for me it's a MUST!

I'm a Chobani girl! I like the plain and add a tbsp. of organic honey with some cinnamon...mmmmmm!

I'm 5'9 and my profile pic is from today at 141 lbs. I range between 138 and 145 depending on my goals at the time. Truly though, the scale is evil and should be avoided often!

I haven't belonged to a gym since 2008. I do mostly bodyweight exercises, beachbody programs (p90x, p90x2), and pick up great tips at bodybuilding.com for at home moves. I think I would see more progress in my legs if I belonged to a gym, but I do what I can at home and do see progress happening. Don't let anything stop…

Inspirational and a true testament to consistency! You look like amazing!!

Great results! My workouts of choice are P90X and P90X2... I'm in Phase 2 of a new round of X2 right now. Love them!! Great job and good luck with Round 2!

Love it! Need to get more bad *kitten* lifting ladies on my FL as well!! I'll be hitting you all up with requests!:flowerforyou:

Well, I turned 40 one month ago, and threw my back out for the first time ever last week...apparently things did change! LOL. I lift as heavy as I can doing workouts in my home, and I try to keep my form as correct as possible as well as realizing that there is no one to help out if I hurt myself. So I'm all about form and…

Hi! I'm 5'9" and my lightest adult weight was 135lbs. just about two years ago. I've been focusing on building muscle and I'm now trying to cut back to about 138lbs. for bikini season. Right now I'm at 143lbs. and trying to watch my macros as much as possible to get that 5lbs off. Don't think I would ever want to be less…

IMO, this should be the 'go to' post for all of the endless debates on whether weightlifting will make a woman bulky etc. You are a true inspiration! Thanks for sharing!!
-
You look beautiful!! Very inspiring and a lot of hard work!!
-
Well done! Maintenance can be a bear, but with your determination, I'm sure you'll continue your success!
-
Hi! I'm just shy of 5'9 and fluctuate between 140-145 lbs. I'm currently trying to cut about 5 lbs. off for summer. The biggest difference is our age... I am literally double your age in just a few days :) Feel free to add me if you'd like!

Looks like we'll be headed to Maryland (Pax River) but not until the November.... Excited to return to the east coast and be closer to family!

Twin boys who turn 7 this Saturday! I was on hospital bed rest for two months, carried them to 36weeks 1 day and measured 60" around the day before my c-section. They were each 22" long and weighed 5lbs 12 oz/ 6 lbs 3 oz. I gained only 27 lbs., but had some extra weight going into the pregnancy from fertility drugs/food…

Twin fraternal boys who are about to turn 7. The first three years were hard, and it's been progressively easier since. They are best buddies and are always together...maybe too much so, but I know this will change and so I savor the present. Twins are a unique experience to be sure!

Hi. My name is NWTM and I am a P90X/P90X2 addict :) I've done six consecutive rounds of P90X classic... One round of P90X2... and now I'm using both sets of dvd's and some trainers from Bodybuilding.com until after my cruise in June. Then I plan on another round of X2! Yes... I think that qualifies me as an addict! LOL

When I've maxed out my reps w/i the range I had planned for going into the workout ( 3 sets of 8 reps etc) and when i can't stop myself from smiling at what I see in the mirror afterward...and when I can't wait to do it again!
-
*bump* Love this! Thanks!!

I'm 5'9 (I always thought 5'8 until my last doctor appt. Had them measure twice and they assured me I had been wrong all these years! LOL) and currently fluctuate between 135-138lbs. I am trying to cut down to 130-132 lbs. for a cruise this summer...we'll see. I would consider myself a medium build, but I get comments…

For the original poster... My results have come 95% from p90x and p90x2. I have a decent set of weights ( up to 50lbs. each), a set of bands, and a pull up bar. Feel free to check my pics out in my profile! I think there are many roads that will lead to the same place, so whichever program you choose, just be committed…

I'm okay with it except for the last leg stretch in the first series... where your leg crosses over the other leg... I don't feel like I'm doing it right and it always feels more like a spinal twist/stretch than anything to do with my legs. I've started subbing the old stretches in here and there because there are a few…

October, November, December, February, April....five months in the year where the holidays center around candy and comfort food. It's no wonder we all stagger into summer with extra weight! At least we're thru it for the spring and summer ladies. Bring on the fresh fruit, veggies, and warm weather!!!
