OMG...Reese's peanut butter eggs (cups, minis, etc) are the DEVIL! Luckily my kiddos each had one in their basket and went for them right away. The rest of their basket is pretty much chocolate bunny and jelly beans, and thanks to me the jelly beans are almost history! LOL Holidays kill me. Thankfully all the 'candy'…

I turn 39 this week... I have weighed less but was 'skinny fat' at that point ... then I became the cardio queen for years....but it wasn't until I picked up a weight heavier than five pounds that I really felt my best! 38 was my best so far, but 39 is going to be the best yet!

Together 21 years, married thirteen years this August! I do love that man! Now if I could just borrow him back from Uncle Sam for a bit....

Exactly!!

I turn 39 this week and took this photo this weekend to remind myself that it's just a number and that the best years are still ahead of me!

Just curious if you bruise easily in general? I have not found bruising to be a problem with the rumble roller... I used to bruise much easier, but after getting a good multi-vitamin in daily I have found I don't bruise quite as much. Plus I'm sure my iron levels are higher with the higher amount of protein in my diet now.…

I finished my X2 round 3/26 and took a week of rest (light cardio only). Now I'm doing a hybrid using the LiveFit (bodybuilding.com) program and X2 dvd's. First time doing a hybrid set up for me, but so far it's been great! I plan on completing the 12 week LiveFit schedule while using the X2 dvd's and finishing up end of…

Congrats on completing the program! You look great! I'm a total P90X junkie. Started in July of 2010 and have completed five (or six? I've lost count LOL) consecutive rounds (2 weeks off between rounds for a 'rest phase') and one P90X2 round completed 3/26 of this year. People think I'm nuts, but if you don't have the…

I'm a crazy choc-o-holic, so it just can't be in the house. Surround yourself with healthy options (apples, veggies, almonds etc) and at least when the munchies attack junk isn't available! Cheers!

Navy wife...together 20, active duty 15 and counting...the hubs is currently deployed. We're both into health and fitness, so I eat pretty much the same as when he's home, but I do love to really hit it hard while he's gone and use homecoming as a 'goal'. Feel free to add me if you'd like! Cheers!

Way to rock the bikini! Love the commitment AND the confidence! WTG!!!

You don't even look related to the guy in the 'before' pic....Amazing work! WELL DONE!!

Once a military spouse, always a military spouse IMO! No more would I dismiss your service and sacrifice than I would your husbands! Cheers!

$0 lifetime membership- no termination of membership allowed wherever Uncle Sam thinks I should... currently empty room behind kitchen.

*raises hand too* I'm a SAHM to 6 yr. old twin boys. I home school currently due to our frequent moves (5 since they were born alone!) and hubby is deployed right now as well...alone time is literally out the window! I find that eating right and keeping snacks to a minimum are my biggest challenges! Not to mention all the…

So, I'll just jump in to the boards... I find if I don't workout in the morning, it just won't happen at all. I homeschool my 6yr. old twins so going to a gym (or finding any time alone, especially right now in the midst of a deployment) is not in the cards. I have been doing P90x for a while and started X2 on 1/1/2012.…

Hi! I've been on MFP for about a year now and just started poking around the groups today...I'm not a big poster to the boards, but I would love to join this group as we all have so much in common outside of our fitness goals! My husband is a pilot in the Navy and currently deployed (halfway thru as of 3/1!!). I have six…

Screen name says it all! Hubs is active duty Navy and currently deployed :) Cheers!

My boys are 6 now, and I don't think I even remotely took getting back into shape seriously until they turned three. I was 60" around the day before giving birth and had a c-section. I started going to the YMCA when they turned three and spent about a year doing mostly cardio and not losing or tightening much. Then I…

Just started this at the new year.... a real eye opener! Especially for my meat portions! I weigh everything now! Totally works with my OCD ;)

Hi! I'm 5'8" but flirt very closely to 5'9". My goal of 135 was met a few months back and I now waiver around 133-135lbs. I'm concentrating on muscle gain right now and hope to cut down to 130lbs. for a cruise this summer. I consider myself a medium frame but according to everyone around me they consider me a tiny frame…

My profile pic was taken last week @ 135 lbs. My highest in my twenties was @ 215lbs (size 16/18). It was a really sad time in my life and very few pictures remain of that time after movers lost my boxes of personal momentos 5 years ago. In a way that was very freeing LOL. I am now a size 4/6. My goal is now building…

This. Exactly! Congratulations seems so insufficient in comparison to what you've achieved! You deserve a standing ovation, trophy, and two minutes to 'Thank the Academy'! Bravo!!!

Keep in mind though that all P90x workouts are not equal. I typically burn 375-425 on weight/ab days and 485-625 on kenpo or plyo days and a very mild burn in the 220's for yoga. I'm 5 ' 8" and 135-137lbs. Hope that helps!

WooHoo for twin mommies! My twins are 6, and the day before I gave birth they measured me at 61" around at my belly button:noway: You look great! I do p90x as well (six rounds so far) and just started p90x2 on 1/1/2012! Loooooove it! Great job!

I'm 5'8 and at my goal weight of 135...I have a small frame so ideally I would like to be 130, but right now I'm trying hard to build more muscle so I'm focusing on lifting heavier and eating clean while upping my proteins and lowering my grain carbs. Great thread, we're all so different! Have to admit that I'm hoping to…

I have to wear mine only at the house for this very reason... the design of my rings makes them impossible to re-size. The hubs isn't happy (especially while deployed) because he doesn't want anyone thinking I'm available! LOL I told him just to buy me that diamond eternity band I've been eyeing... turns out he's not quite…

You look so beautiful...it has been a really great year for you! You look so beautiful and glowing with good health. Good for you!

I'm 5'8" and have hit my goal weight of 135 (actually 134 this a.m.)and love the way it looks...however I think I may go for 132 to make 135 my 'high' number in the month. I think I look very healthy at this weight and would not want to be out of the 130's but of course each body is different!
