I don't have any of my pregnancy photos to share, but here is my 'After Twin Pregnancy and Four Rounds of P90X' photo! The day I checked out of the hospital from hospital bedrest I was 36 weeks, 1 day and I measured 61" around (that is 5'1"... my mom is that height!) I gained approx. 37 lbs. from pregnancy and needed to…

Yay! Love it... Thanks for doing this SwimGoddess (and I'm sure you'll be showing the boys at the gym how it's done soon! Give that awesome new bod some rest if you start seeing signs of needing it!) So just to stay current here, I'll add that I pre-ordered P90X2 this a.m.! Funny to be looking forward to so much pain...…

I think that sounds great! I for one would love to see us all 'connect on a regular basis to motivate each other while living (or having lived at one point) this crazy military life that only those who have experienced it can understand :-) I know I'll need plenty of help when DH heads out this fall! My current goal is to…

I hear the strains of Frank Sinatra singing "It was a very good year...." Congratulations and great WORK!!

My name says it all I guess :-) Hubs is active duty navy pilot gearing up for another deployment in November. Love to join in on the discussion/support towards healthy living! Feel free to friend me...Cheers!

Threw in the first 45 minutes of yoga today to try and access my inner 'zen'... ran on Sunday instead of doing Yoga, so I thought "Why Not?" Hope everyone else found their 'zen' at some point today! Keep pressing play! Cheers!

Kenpo day! Drenched in sweat at the end and burned 555 Cal's. According to my HRM. Great start to my day...off to conquer the world!

Hi everyone:-) I started Round 5 of the classic program on 8/20... Today was my yoga day which normally I love but I felt the need for something a bit more aggressive today so I went for a nice challenging run instead...sometimes you gotta beat the stress out on the pavement, kwim? Anyway, would love to check in here as…

I homeschool my boys (twins, age 6). We are about to start on Monday. I follow the standard school calendar for the most part... we're a military family and though I never thought I would homeschool, I have absolutely fallen in love with it :)

My motto during that time is "In every life a little chocolate must fall..." I usually save a little treat for the end of the day and since I LOVE dark chocolate I usually have something like that on hand. But ONLY during that time as I could eat it all month long :)

Totally agree with all the above...you look great, now just polish the edges a bit :-) I scrape just below 5'9" and weigh 139 right now...my goal is to see how 135 feels/looks but ALWAYS my goal is to have muscle....do you do a bit of strength training during the week? Maybe give it a try if not :-) Cheers!

I'm a morning mama:-) I also home school and the boys are involved in a school co-op and have my own photography business...So my day gets busy pretty quickly! If I don't get up and get me done first, I find that I fall off the list LOL

I get asked that alot... I think the reason I haven't become bored is that with each new round I try to take it to the next level... increase my weights...add more cardio by doing 'doubles routine... tighten up nutrition etc. Do I know the banter by heart? Yup. But I put my own music on and go for it! (And actually still…

You look amazing! I've thought of doing Insanity, but think I'll wait for p90x2 in the fall...die hard T. Horton groupie LOL. I do love Beach body programs tho....can't go wrong! Great job!

Tell your sister that I went to 36weeks 1 day and the day before I gave birth I measured 61" around! My mom is 5'1"!! The boys were each 22.25" long and weighed 6lb3oz and 5lb12oz. This mama was HUGE! Keep rubbing that belly with cocoa butter...no idea if it helped but it didn't hurt ;)

Hey everyone... Just wanted to add that if anyone is thinking of doing P90x (women in particular) and have any questions to feel free to add me :-) I'm not a Beach body coach, but this program has changed my outlook on life and I would love to 'pay it forward'! Thanks again for the words of encouragement...they really lift…

You are doing great! Just remember it took years and babies to get you where you are now...we all want faster results, but to do it right and healthy we need to put the time into it that our bodies and our minds need. If it were easy sites like this wouldn't exist :-) My hubs is also Navy...total of 14 years in now (prior…

Thanks again for all the support everyone! Thanks to you guys lifting me up today I was not tempted AT ALL by the crazy buffet of junk food at a squadron function tonight (seriously tho...not a single veggie or fruit in sight?? Really??) No way was I going to mess up my year anniversary with that garbage! Thanks MFP…

Great job! Way to Bring It :)

Thanks Everyone :) I really appreciate all the great compliments... gives me a mental boost for sure! So real quickly (as I should be packing for vacation!) I'll answer just a couple of questions: Diet: My diary is open (or at least it should be now) but to be completely honest up until about a month ago when I found this…

Finishing up one solid year of P90x next week (4 rounds .... can't believe that!) I had started my weight loss thru gym time three years ago so when I started I was working off my twin pregnancy and mid30's muffin top. Was at 165'ish then and I'm now at 141. Trying really hard to break thru the 140 wall on my scale. My GW…

I'm 5'8" (scraping toward 5'9", but I round down...) and I'm at 141 right now. Going for 135lbs. but I would not want to be much lighter than that. I consider myself to have a 'medium' frame.

Every day is an opportunity to be the person you want to be... to start fresh. Everyone has their own struggles, but I truly hope you will keep trying :-) Be good to yourself and when you stumble a bit (we all do!) don't be too hard on yourself... changing my inner dialogue and being as kind to myself as I would be to a…

Wonderful job! You look like the younger, more energetic, and vivacious sister of the "before" lady! But its not, its all you, and you earned every bit of it!! Great job!!!

I think after nearly four rounds that I can pretty much recite all the dvd's by heart... but I still laugh at his jokes! It has helped that I use my own music now. We have wireless speakers and I put my fav. music on Pandora for whichever workout I'm doing and it helps to break up the 'routine'. Today was Chest/Back/Ab…

I am on my fourth consecutive round of P90X (Classic) and needless to say I am quite addicted. I haven't tried any other programs, but I hear great things about TurboFire, Insanity, and Asylum. From what I understand all of those are heavier on cardio than P90X but I really love the weight lifting aspect of P90X. My plan…
