weightlifting does burn considerably less than cardio, unless you aren't resting between sets. Get a heart rate monitor and that should give you a better idea...

Someone your size, im guessing the 6lbs could be water weight? Plus are u weighing yourself the same time frame because again weight fluctuates morning and night. 6lbs to you may not really be that much in the big picture. I havent looked at your diary, But thats my thought...

Is 10 min enough to consider it an HIIT 'workout'? just wondering. (OP does a walk, then interval run, then cooldown) I have always been under the impression that HIIT is a workout in itself and with the intensity of it, would be pretty beat to do a full workout.

I work out 6 days a week, 5 of days targeting specific areas. every other day, i try to squeeze a little running in. On the 6th day, i do a 4 to 5 mile run depending on my mood. When i have back pain (lower to be exact), i lay off heavy workouts. I take creatine and protein shakes. Multivites when i diet though I'm not as…
