I've learned that most of the time the people who make these comments are either insecure with themselves and don't want you to succeed anymore or they are just older, from the generation where 'women don't exercise.' I think that is a great goal for your height and you should keep going until you are comfortable with your…

I feel your pain! JM annoys the e-living CRAP out of me, but shew she gets the job done. If you want a little more variety, go with her Ripped in 30 because it has 4 different workouts so u do a different one every week. I had to mute her and blast my RockMyRun.com mixes! Good luck!

LOL. Birth control is alot like weight loss. People who are too lazy to use one kind make excuses for why it's not the best way. As long as it doesn't make you bat *kitten* crazy and kill people and prevents pregnancy, just take one, any one.

Way to go to start the committment! I did the running shoe store, assesment thing and honestly I ended up paying $130 for pavement pounders that hurt my ankles after about 6 months (Saucony's). I ended up going to Finish Line and getting a pair of Brooks which were almost half the price (around $80) plus they are SUPER…

I usually eat a banana before my races. Enough to fill me up but not weigh me down :)

Exactly why I am asking these questions! lol I really just don't know. :) A friend of mine just said to make sure to get protein in every meal and she has been Pesca for about 2 years now.

My fiance is on night shift 3 weeks out of the month. I pack his lunches/dinners with lots of small snacks (especially because he's so swamped most of the time and doesn't have time for big meals) which seems to help. He has trouble with eating as well because he's so tired when he gets home that he doesn't eat as much as…

If you have wood floors I suggest plank jacks with washcloths. It sounds silly but if you keep two washcloths under each of your feet and slide them across the floor in a plank jack motion at least 25 reps x 3 sets, you will DEF feel the burn!

I swear by my heart rate monitor. The fit bit doesn't properly track calories because it's not basing it off of your heart rate, just on the steps you take which can be extremely inaccurate. I have a HRM that just tracks my heart rate, calories and time but a friend of mine paid a little extra and got a Garmin HRM which…

Ignorance is bliss. Whatever helps you feel better about yourself girlfriend.

The nutrition aspect IS the hardest part! I can't tell you how much I struggled with it. I still love food and I'm having trouble getting back on track even though I work out 6 days a week! I started off with Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30. I literally did it 5 days a week for 3 months and the other two days I did a Boot…

Yes! I actually set goals throughout my whole weight loss journey and I set things as rewards that I wouldn't normally buy myself. For example my first 10 lbs I bought myself a good solid pair of running shoes, next 5 I got myself a camelbak, next 5 was a HR Monitor and now I'm waiting for my tattoo! I have .5 lb to go :)…

I have to say that discipline is the biggest factor. I gave up fried foods and fast food while I was trying to lose the weight and while I still don't eat fast food, I have started eating french fries again. I'm trying to give them up completely so it's not as hard to burn off the fat, but I just love food. That was my…

Lol yes they are! I lost most of my toosh and my chest :(

I'm 5'3" and I was told by MFP to eat 1200 but I've been at 1500!

I'm trying to fix the links! Sorry guys, not the best technology person! lol

I have the same problem. Usually it's my body telling me I need water, not food. I usually drink a little chocolate milk for my muscles and to supress my brain trying to tell me I'm hungry until I can drink lots of water. :)
-
Way. To. Go. You look amazing and your positivity on MFP amazes me! Keep up the good work.

I tried the 1200 a day as MFP recommended and it just wasn't feasible. Everyone is different and you will find what works for you, but I've been consistenly eating 1500 cals a day along with working out 5 days a week. I cut out fast food and fried food and while it was a bumpy road, I am down 29.5 lbs since July last year.…

you look great! congratulations on all the hard work. xoxo

A lot of people have suggested covering the screen. I definitely have to try that and remember to bring a towel!

Bride to be here. 5 months to go! I definitely recommend tricep dips and pushups if you don't have access to a gym! the key is repetition! if you do have access to a gym, try the assisted pull up/chin up machine as well as the chest fly and chest press machines! I've got my arms on point after a few months of focusing on…

Thanks for that link!!!

I've been taking 5 hour energy on and off for a year or so and it hasn't affected my weight loss. zero sugar and 5 calories and it does the job!

I'm getting a tattoo just like a ton of people on here! But if I had the money I would totally get a boob job! lol

Maybe some crappy camera phone pics, but no photoshop LOL finalweigh2 by xokerrbieox, on Flickr

feel free to add me! Love making new friends on MFP! You just have make it habit, like checking your fb or twitter a few times a day and it will become second nature :)

Men will never understand! lol. I hit my breaking point when I coudn't fit into any of my swim suits and cried for days and he just couldn't understand that I had to feel good about myself even though he loved me the way I was. Sometimes it's a losing battle! But just keep focus on making sure YOU feel good about yourself!…

I usually cheat once every 2 weeks and it's more so cheat meals not entire days. I would suggest upping your regular calories so you don't feel so starved. I definitely have those days where I just want to cry because I want a cheeseburger (lol) but eventually you train yourself to maintain willpower. Good luck xoxox
