I think you are right to reduce it a little. I mean it really would be relative to how hard you were working at painting you know...for example if I put 30 minutes of house cleaning...was it sitting on the bed folding towels or was it sweeping and mopping floors...big difference. Unless I am doing heavier housework that is…

I have had the same trouble...and being large I have also dealt with swelling issues because my muscles and joints are protesting...I am noticing it in size and not weight...I have pretty much retired the scale for now...as long as I keep doing what I need to do...I know it will be good!

Kettle bells...you get a wicked workout...it is great for cardio and strength training for your whole body! in half the time...you can burn 400 cals in 20 minutes!! I just picked some up at walmart for $30.00...

When I am really eating healthy...lots of fresh veggies and fruits it is really hard for me to make the calorie goal set for me. Sometimes I fill some of the calories with an evening smoothie....protein powder and fresh fruit with 1% milk and ice, or I use the powder with milk ice and the folgers english toffee flavored…

I had a little trouble with this initially...I would shop for them and then if I had enough shop healthy for me...At my heaviest I topped out at 420. Needless to say...I had to finally sit down and say this is it...I started to change some things in the house and if they dont like it too bad. I can either make the changes…

sounds like you would log the majority of it as walking. Any lifting or such you can add as strength training avg the weight you were lifting and get a rough estimate of how many reps you would have done...That is how I would handle that...sounds like you were a busy gal!

I smoked from the time I was 18 up till I was 28. I got sick and tried to smoke a cigarette and passed out cold. My O2 level was too low. It scared the hell outta me and I have never lit up again since. Even all these years later, I can tell you everytime I would light up. At first I used cinnnamon toothpics or gum.…

I think it just varies between people really. Some benefit from it more in the am than the pm. For some working out in the am helps them get their body going, and there are some that have trouble sleeping well with a workout in the evenings! Really it is whatever works for you the most. That being said, you do have to make…

definately...you can get cardio with you upper body while not bulking up...use a really light weight..2 lbs..no more than 5...you could also use an exercise ball lifting it over your head and such...I started that way when I hurt my leg...

Good luck to you...I know how hard it is to quit smoking and have the knee issues too...no surgeries yet..but I have just been delaying the inevitable...Glad to have you here!

sounds as though your body is trying to adjust to the lost weight...plateau...just keep doing what you have been doing and drink plenty of water..I know that is supposed to be a really biggy with cell stabilization. Once your body settles in a week or so, you should shed again pretty easily...
