Thanks everyone, you have all been helpful! I overindulged on Saturday (enchiladas, beer, etc.) and felt like crap! Not to mention the guilt I felt! ^^^ I think your method sounds like a fair way to do things from now on. Thanks so much!

MFP set me at 1210, followed that for about a week, and could tell I needed more fuel. Now I try to stay around 1500. And, like a lot of you, sometimes I eat my exercise calories back, sometimes I don't.... depends on how I feel.

Add me! I'm also a 33 year old mom (of three). This site has been amazing so far!!

I never thought.... I could quit smoking... I would call myself a runner... The *kitten* I had before having kids would come back, but it is! I could feel this good! ....and to MFP: I never thought that the encouragement and praise from complete strangers would mean so much to me!! MFP Rocks!!! :drinker:

I'm 5'7", and currently 171lbs. I think 140-150 would be my ideal weight. Even at 160 I remember feeling sexy in a size 8. But like some others said, I just want to look healthy and fit, not skinny! My waist is my trouble zone after having 3 kids. The good thing about our height is that we appear proportionate and hide our…

OH YES>>>>>and the late night trip to the ER! Lets call in the ultrasound tech...hmmmmm, can you tell me the sex...NOPE....not tonight! Why are you here?!!!!!:noway:   [/quote] The reason I am so glad to be out of the hospital setting! Although it does get repetitious just scanning babies all day.
-
Great Job!! I also quit smoking in January, cold turkey. It feels good to be healthy!!! You look awesome!!!
-
I am an ultrasound technologist in an OB/GYN office. I love my job, but I am so sick of hearing "look at that big head!" or "can you check again (for the 5th time) and make sure it's a girl/boy". Most pregnant patients are awesome, but some are just plain pesty!!

Alliesun- that's the only breed I'm am deathly afraid of. I'm glad your sister is okay, that's a horrible thing to happen. Thanks for all of your input guys.

Yeah, the whole pepper spray thing sounded cruel to me. I live in a neighborhood out in the country, if that makes sense. There are dogs loose all over, including my own, lol. Most of them seem friendly, but I ran into one who I wasn't too sure of, so I just changed my route. I just don't like feeling unprotected, and I…

Great articles, thank you so much! Wow, I wouldn't want to have a run-in with a skunk, haha!
