I did TF last year. I had been mainly only running for exercise, and lost weight with it, but needed something different. I was blown away at the compliments I was getting while doing TF! Friends and family started noticing results quickly! I love Chalene Johnson, I just finished week 1 of ChaLean Extreme and I'm already…

Ugh!! I had the same issue! I was ready to return it as well! They re-vamped the package, and what happened was they sent me the "old" DVD's with the "new" schedule. They finally figured it out and emailed me the right schedule, so I am on track now!! If the workouts weren't completely AWESOME I would have sent it back.. I…

I have the same problem with bananas. I was able to eat them with no problems until I hit 30. Avocados do the same thing to me. No one ever believes me!! Your post made me feel a lot better about myself, LOL!! How do you cook bananas? :ohwell:

I gave up drinking coke two years ago. I used to drink about a two liter every day. I drink nothing but water, (sometimes flavored), unsweet tea, and coffee now. I did have headaches the first week after I quit, but I think they would have been worse if I wasn't still getting caffeine in the morning (I would drink a 32oz…

Hello! Well, it looks like I'm a little late to the party, but I ordered Turbo Fire yesterday! Can't wait to start! Hopefully it will come in by the end of the week!

Everyone has given you great advice. I just wanted to throw in there that once you run that 5K, you will catch the bug and be hooked!! Organized running events are so much FUN!!!! And the running community is awesome, no matter how big or small or how fast or slow you are!!

Sounds like a lot of fun! I also like Hal Higdon's training plans. They seemed to work with a busy schedule.

EFF 'EM!!!! :drinker:

I am going to see a Sports Medicine doc on Friday, for what I believe is ITBS. It's setting me back in my training as well. It's so DEPRESSING!! Anyway, good luck with your recovery, if the doc gives me any good info, I'll pass it on! Hopefully we can get over it quickly and get back on the road!!
Embrace the commitment and the pain and the solitude and when you cross the finish line (with a big grin on your face) for your half marathon you'll know that they were all wrong!
Thank you!! I love your outlook on things!

Awesome!! I listen every morning on my drive to work!! I used to listen from 6-7am, but the past few years I listen from about 7-8am. So, I don't get to hear fresh outta bed anymore. I live down in El Campo. :drinker:

Congrats!!! 35 minutes is a great time for a 5K!! You should be very proud of yourself!! You and I have similar stories, I also began walking/jogging in January, and I will be running a half marathon next month, and a full next January. I started out at about 192lbs, now am at 169. Still need to lose more, but I'm making…

Originally from PA, I've been in Texas about 7 years. El Campo, TX (about an hour south of Houston) ADD ME if you'd like

Add me as well  I am looking to lose about 20-25 more lbs and tone up.

I am running it! I am a first timer as well! I have lots of work to do, but I can't wait to cross that finish line! Happy training!

Level 3 is definitely no joke, however, I was surprised at how I was able to keep up with and finish it. I am sure that all the hard work put into levels 1 and 2 prepared me for 3. There is no way I would have been able to start off at 3. I am a little disappointed because I when I first started the 30 Day Shred, I was SO…

Thanks for posting this. I told myself I wasn't going to get on the scale anymore, but I work in a Dr.'s office and pass by the scale 50 times a day. I gave in and stepped on it this morning. UP 2 pounds. But, like you, my clothes are falling off of me. I wish I had enough self discipline to stop getting on the scale. It…
