so the 5k that i have been training for this weekend (the first 5k post-pregnancy and my first race in almost 2 years!) has been cancelled and i just found out this morning. bummed. i decided to have my own private 5k and kick its *kitten* anyway then someone suggested joining a virtual 5k. i decided i would just start one here and save myself the trouble of signing up on a new website.
who wants to run a 5k this weekend?? just post that you are in and after you run (or walk or run/walk) your 3.1 then come back and tell us how great you did! then we can all give ourselves a pat on the back.

I'm running my first one on June 8th. I was going to practice on Sunday. I'll come back and post my time, but it will be slow. I've been running on a treadmill and am just moving outside so I am ready. This sounds good.0
