Treadmill running sucks!!! I have had to switch to it too and have the same frustrations...I just blogged about that very thing yesterday. www.runningsforthebirds.blogspot.com Hope you find some peace in knowing you're not alone!

Thanks! I will post the results (end of March is the race). I plan to follow a Galloway training plan. I have learned so much through his books and I like his methods. I put it all on a calendar and plan to start next week! The goal is to average a 10 minute mile...

I lost 30 pounds prior to the race. But I should be 20 pounds lighter total (and 50 pounds down over all) before the next Half. Thanks!

LAYERS! Warm-up for about 10 minutes inside first -then head out. It's rough trying to get motivated, but it's always worth it!

It's a BRAND NEW WEEK! Can't change the choices from last week, but you CAN learn from them. March on knowing you won't make the same mistake twice. It's about a process NOT perfection! (HUGS)

I have lost almost 38 pounds and not a single ounce of it had to do with will power. It was all about planning, allowing for certain things and being forgiving when I stumbled. It's about slow change and realizing that each time I have the power to make a good or not-so-good choice. I think about my goals and bigger…

It usually takes a 5K for my body to get going, it's my 3 mile warm-up...once I get passed that wall I fall into my groove. Had I never pressed through it the first few times, I would've never found it!

That's awesome. My hubby is a runner too! You know what they say? Couple that run together, stay together. 12 years and still going strong. ;)
-
Good for you! We don't have the space for a dreadmill so it's out for us too! WTG on your 5K!

Sounds like you are a busy woman! My first suggestion would be to make sure you're getting enough sleep. I'm guessing with your hubby away, this might be a challenge. Lack of sleep only increases appetite. Our brain tries to draw energy for our body any way it can even if it means telling you to eat when you don't need to.…

Hi, I'm Nina... At the beginning of this year, I had determined I was going to lose 30 pounds before my 30th birthday. I joined Weight Watchers in February only to find myself at a plateau just a couple months in. Frustrated with the stand still in my progress, I wasn't sure if I was going to break through. On an afternoon…
