  • I'm no fitness expert by any means, but I thought I'd pipe in here based on my own experience. I burn more calories at an easier speed, going for longer. Otherwise I tire out way sooner. I may burn more calories in that shorter ride, than I burn in the same amount of time of the slower ride, but I am able to ride twice as…
  • Hi! Welcome to the ONE THING that has ever lasted for me. I'm just past 20 days with MFP, and had never made it a week before with any other program/app/group. For me, the calories were a hard thing to balance at first. But by the end of the first week, it was much easier, and now, I already know what I can eat or cannot…

  • I reallyyy bloat, and retain water nearly the entire time. Usually 5-8lbs and it's very, very frustrating!!
  • One of my favorites is very similar to Froggy15's. 1/2 cup - one cup vanilla Dannon Light & Fit yogurt, about a 1/4 cup of Dole's frozen Wildly Nutritious Signature Blend Mixed Berries, and a just a bit of original Fiber One cereal mixed in for some added fiber and crunch. Good luck finding something you like! Adding…
  • Thanks for posting about this! I have this problem, too. I was doing really well for, like, a week lol. It IS a problem for me, because I'm having trouble eating enough to make up for it later. I'm having trouble eating enough calories even if I do eat breakfast. Basically all my issues come down to really horrible eating…
  • I agree about having level heads to help. The news feed thing on my profile helps a ton, too. I don't want to be the ONE PERSON that posts that I was over my calorie goal, or not posting that I didn't exercise. I am really horrible liar, it eats at me, so checking the news feed is a huge motivator lol
  • I have a TERRIBLE time sticking to things, but I'm on day 13 with MFP and still feel really motivated. This is a first for me, I've never made it even 5 days before. Hopefully this site will help you as much as it's helped me. Good luck!
  • Hi. I know I'm new here, this is only my second post, but I had to comment on this because I wondered something similar. I have an exercise bike that has programmed workouts that stair step up and down in resistance, and is supposed to be similar to riding outside. The number of calories burned that is displayed on the…
  • This is my first post ever, but your timing was so perfect, I had to share. Someone just posted on my Facebook a few minutes ago warning me that "scales are alive." As long as you're working toward better health, don't worry too much about the numbers. Your attitude is AMAZING! You got this! ;)
