  • LOL, that was in my former life LOL!!! Now was 180mph necessary for me to enjoy riding, no I gave in to the temptation and it could have been costly for me and the other two riders doing this on a dark deer infested highway :noway: Now, just cruising at 45 mph in the country or 70 on the interstate is just as much fun for…
  • Hey found out some of my co-workers had also been to the same instructors and told me something about the people killed. Apparently the young man killed was a student at ECU who was doing what his girlfriend wanted to do for her birthday. Even if this isn't true it's sad all the same. Yep we only live once but AGAIN…
  • Okay, I'm not a very nieve person but obviously I missed something somewhere. Anyway thanks for a great site and a great bunch of people on their way to the best shape of their lives. God bless
  • To each his own, I just personally have no desire to risk almost certain death with a manmade object. Same for bungie jumping, but again it's just me.
  • you had that come to Jesus meeting with yourself huh, oh yeah now it's time to get to work. Tell yourself you're going to get it right and not let anything/anyone stand in your way. Take care and keep us posted of your progress
  • Is it a Baker's cyst? Just like any injury, activities that avoid aggravation are what you want to shoot for. You hit the nail on the head when you said swimming, but also low impact activities that don't place the knee in loaded extension so pilates is a good option and if you're a yoga person that also. The thing to…
  •   me preeeeeciiioouuuussss
  • Unfortunately we're conditioned to function on too much carbs, it leads to our unfortunate problems with the ole overweight bug. You need to adjust your calories to suite your workout, if your workout is calculating a burn of 3-400 calories, you have to find that extra in your diet or you'll crash in your workout (trust me…
  • Jess girl you look great, I know you've heard this, but it's good to hear it again I'm sure. I'm going to be a coach after 90 days and I get a good grip on the nutrition guide.

  • Amen, if the power isn't from Christ, it's from the enemy.
  • Yep I usually drink water like crazy, especially on workout days. So technically I'm down to 284 from 313 (actually 292 beginning p90x though). Thanks guys/gals, I love this site!!! We have to be each others keepers, keep the encouragement flowing throughout this site. God bless you all
  • I believe in the spirit realm, there are many in the Christain Faith that have a prophetic gift which is the gift to tell of what is to come. I think some "psychics" may have tapped into the spirit realm and the source of their abilities aren't from Christ. Now I think the majority are scam artists who are really good at…
  • Wow that's a blessing for sure, should have read it all the way through I see. Yep I'm probably going to post pics at day 90. Thanks and keep us posted.

  • Yep I usually get the 6am weighin in the birthday suit to get the most accurate reading, sometimes I just jump on the scale and for the last 3-4 weeks my wt has been pretty constant w/ maybe a 1-2 pound fluctuation from morning to evening. I'll stick with the am weighins so my scale will make it to 90 days.
  • Hello Amanda, I'm starting today week 9 and I'm nearing 10 lbs lost and that's not following the nutrition plan (don't whup me). It's an awesome and intense activity & it borderlines on addiction. Lean is designed primarily for ladies who want to sculpt, but I recommend classic which combines resistant and cardio evenly…

  • And I'm going to enjoy every minute of it  Starting weight 292, step on the scale yesterday morning 284 (at 8 wk point in p90x) so I'm thinking COOL, on track to loose about 10 lbs total doing the program for 90 days. Get on the scale last night 288, now how did I experience a 4 lb wt change in about 12 hours? DEATH…
  • A little step at a time is what I mean. None of us began walking out of the womb, it was a process. with p90x you'll hear Tony Horton say "Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was your body". When I say pace I mean make it a lifestyle and plan out your desired changes. When we decide we're going to lose the 60 lbs in a…
  • Boss rules as long as you're on the clock!
  • Come on if I got a whuppin for every time I've messed up, I'd be in a wheel chair  The workouts will definitely help counterbalance you diet. My off days (Sundays) are the days I need to be reeeaaallllyyyy careful, or I can do x stretch and woo hoo!
  • Done, It's in His hands.
  •
  • Yep it's no problem for me, I can get my calories  The problem for me is getting the right mix of calories, which is where the MFP food log has helped me tremendously. You guys/gals pray for me, I want to do better with the diet beginning week 9 (Next Monday).
  • It is specific to you, for me I may use 40 lbs for tricep extension and get to 10 and start feeling some serious burn, the last 2-3 reps should hurt. So, if you use 10lbs and you can do 20 or so reps you need more weight. Sometimes it takes some adjusting to find that range, but I was really careful because I want to…
  • Oh don't you hate temptations, for me it's early morning Krispi Kreme (translation in latin "Krack Kocaine")
  • Yep high reps will NOT make your muscles bigger. It will make them more firm and lose more of the adipose tissue surrounding them.
  • "IT'S A TUUUUMA"
  • What activities are you doing to tone the arms? remember specificity of activity - meaning work specifically on what you want to accomplish. Example if I want a six pack and it's genetically possible for me to actually reveal it, I'd need to 1. eat nearly pefectly (talking about me now) 2. develop the abdominals via…
