  • Thanks for the heads up! I just bought 2 boxes of the Quest Cookie Dough to stock up. That's a great price.
  • I did Phase 3, Cardio 3 for the first time last night. WOW. All that jumping is really exhausting, but I like the 20-second intervals and how quickly it goes. But man, I was sweating so much by the time I finished it was burning my eyes! :)
  • UNBELIEVABLE. Seriously, you look PHENOMENAL. Normally I'd be like, okay enough selfies....but girl, you go on taking those selfies! You've earned it! Love your quote as well: A year from now, you'll wish you had started today. I am a month and a half into seriously losing weight and working out, but I had meant to start…
  • I am only taking measurements after each phase, so after phase 1 (completed 2 weeks ago), this is what I lost: Weight: Lost 4.6 lbs Bust: Lost 1 inch Midriff: Lost .5 inch Upper Left Arm: No change Waist: Lost 2.5 inches Upper Hip: Lost 3.25 inches Lower Hip (around butt): Lost 1 inch Upper Left Thigh: Lost .5 inch Left…
  • I am single and live alone and I routinely have leftovers. I just put it in the fridge and reheat the next day like anything else! I think it tastes fine. My favorite way to eat spaghetti squash is with diced tomatoes (I like to buy the kind that is seasoned with basil and garlic), turkey meatballs and a little shredded…
  • Workout 5 was brutal for me at first, but when I finished it for the last time on Thursday I did SO much better. It's amazing how much stronger you get from workout to workout!
  • I am starting week 7 tonight. I love it, and can't believe I've stuck with it! I haven't missed any days yet and I am in the middle of phase 2. Some of the workouts suck, but I feel much better when I'm done. The inches are dropping and I am very happy with this program. The 30 minutes a day thing is great; I wouldn't be…
  • Curious how you all did/are doing as you get closer to your weddings? I am going to be a bridesmaid in April. The wedding was originally going to be next August or September, so I ordered a size 8 at David's Bridal thinking even that would be too big after all these months of working out and losing weight. Well, the…
  • I am a 5' 6-1/2" female and my highest weight was 163.4. Ugh. Currently 155 and never, ever going back!
  • I just finished my first week of Phase 2 and I agree, I hate workout 5!! I enjoy workout 6 more than any of the others in Phase 1 or 2. The cardio 2 is tough! I am hoping to get more results with this phase. I lost inches with phase 1, but only 4.6 lbs. Not terrible by any means, but I am hoping to continue to shrink with…

  • I agree with MissMaryMac33 (I just got that song in my head now!!) about trying different instructors. My first instructor was good, but I found another one who's amazing. She's an incredible dancer and offers much more variety and different kinds of songs than the standard Zumba playlist.
  • I've done both, but I much prefer the variety of attending actual classes. My instructor mixes it up from week to week, so while there is some overlap (which is helpful for learning the moves) you're not doing the exact same routines, in the exact same order class after class. The games (or DVDs) got old for me fast. If…
  • I agree that it's not all or nothing as you're making it out to be. My birthday was last week, and I knew I was going out to a pasta bar I really wanted to try and I even was going to take the free dessert. The pasta and dessert were the most appealing part of it to me, and plenty of calories on their own, but I skipped…
  • Hello! I am a 32-year-old female from the Midwest. I am on week 3 of phase 1 of BR and loving it! Well, loving and hating it. :) I usually don't stick with things like this very long because I get bored easily, but I love that I am switching between 3 workouts each week. I actually feel weird taking the rest day! I've…
