I think certain grains are actually allowed. Just not white bread, white rice and reg. pasta. I am getting the impression that alcohol is not allowed, like you said. I don't particularly like that restriction either...

The salad is a really good choice and the minestrone soup is only 100 calories. If ordering pasta, I would pick marinara sauce and order a lunch portion. By all means, do not get alfredo sauce! Another good option would be the venetian apricot chicken... And remember that a glass of blush wine (my favorite) is about 150…

Great advice, Inlander. I am considering weaning back on the Lexapro a bit. I can't imagine stopping it, but eventually... maybe. Just maybe, once I am weaned back enough I can imagine stopping!

Wow, so many great responses! You all gave me so many great ideas. I finally decided to use the spaghetti squash... thouroghly enjoyed that! It was delicious with the spaghetti sauce over it. Yes, lots of carbs in spaghetti... That's why I was trying to balance with something w/out carbs. I am loving all the ideas! I don't eat pasta everyday, lol! I just like it for a "treat" occasionally (I am Italian, after all). I may try out the spaghetti squash, though...
