Oh, I love Trader Joes! I try to get as much as I can there, so don't have any specific suggestions. Just go for it!
-
haha, me too!

Thanks for the advice! That's what I did this time. I wish I knew which one was really right! Thanks everybody for your help!

Sounds to me like you're not eating ENOUGH. You've got to eat at least 1200, plus a bit more to make up for all that exercise. You may have entered starvation mode.

I happen to really like water. So I just drink as much as I can :)

Binge eating, to me, is when I can no longer control myself. The occasional piece of cake after dinner is nothing compared to a day of bingeing.

I have the condition as well and my doctor told me that I should NEVER go barefoot, ever. That you need the support of shoes. Now, since I never wear shoes unless I absolutely have to, I kindly ignored his advice and just do what you're doing. Stretching and icing. I still have very bad days. The more I'm on my feet, the…

It didn't quite work out :/

I got a New Balance one at Target for $50 and I love it. I feel it's more accurate than MFP.
-
My husband gets very negative about it. He tries to make all of my hard work and struggles seem like nothing. I just keep going.

Mine is a New Balance with chest strap and got it at Target for $50. I really love it. I tried the one without the strap (that cost more) and took it back after just a day or two because you had to hold two fingers still on the watch while exercising (nearly impossible for me).
-
It hasn't adjusted my calories at all. Only when I log the actual exercise I've done that day.

I would avoid the special k bars, they are really high in sugar and carbs. I would get some whole grain crackers and fresh veggies that are easy to grab, like carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, etc. I do a lot of hummus with fresh veggies or pita bread.

I have size 11 feet and when I was a skinny little thing with bones jutting out all over the place, I was still 155 lbs. I'm 5'6" and was a size 10 in shoes and drawers back then. So I think you're onto something here.

From what I hear they can be great, just beware that they have no support and you can feel rocks/pebbles and stuff when you're walking in them. I know people that ADORE them and wear them everywhere, even hiking, etc.

I did the same thing the other day with a different food. I walked back and forth like five times, all the while my children are wondering if I'm crazy and why we keep going down the same aisle. I finally put everything down, but it was hard. When i realized I was trying to make a plan in my head of when/where I could eat…

I'm about 50 lbs heavier than you, started at 303. I started out with just a work out video and literally, it was a challenge just STANDING for the video. I didn't do the exercises, I just stood and kinda shifted from foot to foot. It took me forever to be able to do ANYTHING for more than five or ten minutes at a time.…

Right on!!! Keep up the good work! I just started a month ago, and MFP (and my new heart rate monitor) have been huge blessings in my life.

I know it's a lot to lose (I'm in the same boat). But think about how much 13 lbs is! Go to the grocery store and just pick up a 10lb bag of sugar or flour. Really hold it in your arms and think to yourself how awesome it is that you don't have to carry that around 24 hours a day anymore. I love doing things like that.…

I went to a Healthy Eating class with a really cool dietician yesterday, and they were talking about how it's the carbs. The carbs are what's causing high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.

From what I understand, for marinades you should enter the recipe and make a serving size be 1 tbsp. for a 4 oz portion of meat. It can be time consuming, but after I make the marinade, I pour it into a big glass measuring cup and divide that by tablespoons (there are 16 in a cup). That's how many servings that one makes,…

We've been watching Dexter and Medium and sometimes Dead Like Me.

I get like that, especially around my period. It's awful and horrible and I can't seem to stop myself. I just eat and eat and eat. Logging everything and feeling guilty the whole way.
-
I weigh them before I cook them. I know there's probably not much difference, that's just how I do it.
-
I count every single thing that goes into my mouth. Even if it's just a bite of something. In the long run, it's better.

First, there isn't anything you guys can do. I always got really hurt and offended any time someone gently suggested that I should lose weight. My husband and family are very nice, loving, caring people and would never hurt me. They were genuinely concerned for my health. Whenever they said something, I would just go eat…

Wow. Quitter. MyFitnessPal isn't supposed to do it FOR you. Only you can take charge of your life and make the necessary changes needed to get healthy. You didn't gain all that weight over night, or even in a year, it takes lots of time and effort to lose it again. Good luck to you!

Oh, totally treat yourself. And GET RID of those old clothes. Those are not you anymore!!! WTG on your hard work! That is truly awesome.
