  • I usually have the same breakfast: 3 eggs over hard 1 slice cheese 2 pieces turkey sausage Gives me a total of 500 calories for breakfast. There are many days that this will keep me satisfied till dinner between 5 and 6pm. At the most I might take in a couple hundred calories between 12 and 1.
  • Expect more friend request in the near future.
  • From Michigan also It was over 80 degrees at 7am this morning when I walked.
  • Wish I had seen the post earlier so I could have posted this.
  • Since I came back to MFP 36 days ago, I have not had pizza which I was having multiple times a week. I know I could have it if it is within calorie limit, but it is just to much of a trigger to overeating at this point for me to try to eat a reasonable portion.
  • Thanks for the support. Like I posted, its a small NSV, but those are what keeps us going till we reach the bigger milestones.

  • You don't want to be fat, but the process is difficult. I believe you used the word addict in your post (forgive me if I am mistaken). Food is an addiction just like any other, but unlike the others, you need food to survive. They don't tell alcholics to drink reasonable amounts several times a day and then stop at that,…
  • I did adkins years ago and had great results. I kept the weight off for many years. It wasnt till much later when I let my eating habits turn to crap that I gained my weight back. Some people make it sound like the minute you stop adkins the weight comes back overnight. When you stop you will gain a small amount in water…
  • I'm taking a mens one a day vitamin. This is mainly because I am going the low carb route and thought I should take one to help fill in any gaps in my vitamin intake.
  • I have heard some say that diet soda actually increases your hunger. I don't know if it is true, I have not looked for or been told if there is any proof one way or another. I still drink diet soda, but my intake has gone down significantly as I have increased my water intake.
  • I am currently re-reading The Dragon Reborn which is the 3rd bood in The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jorden. I am hoping I don't get through them to soon before the final book of the series comes out in Novermber (I hope). From all the post, I am going to have to get a hold of 50 Shades of Grey and The Hunger Games…

  • As long as you stay within your daily calorie limit, it should not matter that you take in some of your calories "late night".
  • Some people have no goals or drive and resent people that do. I am not saying this applies to all the people with negative post, but I would be suprised if it didn't apply to some of them.
  • I am a bread person also. I would just as soon have a bagel than a candy bar. For me, I just can't have it in the house, at least for now. I agree with a previous post that talks about adding it back in gradually. If you find yourself losing control of it again then get it out of the house again.
  • I only take the money I am willing to spend to the bar, I leave the rest at home. Its to easy to justify spending more than you intended after you start drinking.
  • This site is great for motivation and information. My comment is a saying I like that refers to the topic title. You can't fail if you don't quit. You say you have tried many different methods to lose weight and now are searching for answers here. That shows me that you definately have not quit. There are many here that…
  • Can't say as i have come across one like that. I keep seeing those that promote vegetarian diet, tofu, ect. I wouldn't put much stock in anyone that takes it to either extreme.
  • The last time I lost weight I had a problem with excess skin. I looked good in clothes, bu it was highly disappointing to put that much effort into losing weight and not being able to take my shirt off. At the time I had to many other financial obligations for surgery to be an option. I think this is one of the major…
  • I usually make 3 eggs and 2 turkey sausage patties. Sometimes I chop up some cooked ham and cook it with my scrambled eggs and add cheese for a messy omelet. Even doing the low carb thing, I have tried to also eliminate excess fat. To this end, I have switched to turkey sausage, turkey hot dogs, turkey burger.....still…
  • I had success with adkins years ago and kept my weight down for years. It wasn't till much later that I put my weight back on. I started with low carb again on June 11 and am seeing results already. During the week I am eating between 1200 and 1500 calories while staying between 15 and 20 carbs. On the weekend, I am…
  • Total Red Wings fan here. I do have some love for the Stars since my name is Dallas.
  • I very much prefer longer hair.
  • The OCD part of me loves the fact that the list is in alphabetical order (although I would have put The Offspring after Taproot)
  • This ^^^^ A little fear at the beginning something new is normal, just don't let it get the best of you.
  • This post has taught me something. I always assumed that the reason women only added women was due to a history of idiots who main goal was sexual in nature. So I learned that there are other reasons that women don't add men. My friends list is comprised mostly of women. I have always gotten along with women better. Also,…
  • Not at all. I am primarily doing this for the way I look. Secondly, to experience less back pain when doing anything. To be completely honest, my overall health has never really been a driving factor (I know that is bad, but it's truth).
  • My actual name is Dallas. D - Guess this one stemmed from saving time or laziness Big D - Started after I spent lots of time at the gym. Dusty - Started at my workplace, I think its because at that time I had not dated in about 2 years
