Only really started watching hockey within last few years, and I'm not the type to get into the stats and history, but I like watching Red Wings games.

I gotta agree, walking is a great way to begin. I lost my first 100 pounds just by keeping track of my food and walking. Repeating what was said before, gradually increase your time. I was dealing with a lot of lower back pain. The pain would stop me before my muscles or lungs did. One thing I did to work around this was…

Looks like we are on a similar journey. I am currently at 324. I was at 468 June 11 of 2012. I began wearing cycling shorts to prevent the chafing I got while walking. Congratulations and continued success in all you do.

A little more than 15 years ago, I lost over 200 pounds. I had a lot of loose skin. I kept the weight off for years without any hint that my skin would improve. I got an estimate of approximately 15K for skin removal surgery. At the time, I had no hope of taking that option. Over time, I became more and more depressed.…

I am from Michigan. Huge Red Wings fan. I could not care less about the Tigers and the Lions though.

8lbs. It took awhile to clean up my diet again after the holidays or it could have been more.

False... TNP likes to drive with no particular place to go.

False. I have not read a single Harry Potter book. The next person has worked out everyday this week.

Amazing progress. You have every reason to be proud of what you have accomplished. Keep up the good work.

Born and raised in Cadillac, MI. That is about 1 1/2 hours north of grand rapids or 1 hour south of Traverse city, MI.

I just made 140 consecutive log in days. Feel free to add me, we can all use more support.

I find 15% to 25% to be the most appealing. That being said, size has never been the main consideration when it comes to dating or relationship considerations. Edited after the guys chart was put up: I would like end up under 15% but probably not as low as the 7%-9% picture.

I don't mind helping out around the house at all. Laundry, dishes, cooking, the list goes on. But if I'm doing it, I'm gonna do it the way I want to. I don't wan to be bit*hed at because don't do it the way she does.

I can relate to the topic heading. I started out with over 250 pounds to lose. Now having lost over 100 pounds now and walking 2 hours a day I feel like I weigh 100 pounds less than I do at the moment. So I need new clothes, especially jeans, so I figure I can go to walmart for them. I figured it would be some of the…

I am 5'10" and my wrist is 7 3/4 inches in circumference. I was told by a physician that measured my wrist that I had a large frame. Good thing since its holding a lot of weight up at the moment.

Fantastic achievement.

I am a bit more relaxed on the weekend. That being said, I plan my main meals ahead of time. That way I don't buy a bunch of extras at the store to sit in the house and tempt me.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the kind words.

Friend request sent. Just recently passed 100 days logging. Anyone else looking for friends, feel free to add me.

Anyone should feel free to add me. I am on every day and walk 6 days a week. I have lost 98 pounds since June 11 and have about 150 to go. I do eat low carb, so if you have strong opinions against that, don't look at my diary.

I think it looks good and does not make your face look huge at all. That being said, I prefer long hair over short 99% of the time and this is no exception.

I can't imagine telling anyone to shut up, much less my wife (or girlfriend for the dating folk). I might not be interested or care at all, but will still listen to what she has to say. Now after she has has her say (in this case about music), I might say it's not my thing or something like that. I think telling someone to…

For me personally, I used food as a coping mechanism the way others use drugs or alcohol. So although it wasn't a conscious thought, I chose food addiction over drug or alcohol addiction as a means of dealing with depression. As a child I was taught often about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, but there was really very…

I am going to read the rest of this later, but I have my doubts about how accurate the article will be when it refers to Adkins as a zero carb diet.

I don't know about creepy, but all the FR's with naked snapshots have to stop....

I know its this is proably geared more toward women. I am not fashion oriented, but there are types/styles of clothing that either are not made for or just do not work with sizes in the 5-6XL range. I would be satisfied to be able to wear the t-shirts with the sides cut out or be able to take my shirt off outside. Nearing…
