I haven't been single for a little while, but I did the online dating thing for about 2 and half years. In that time, I only met 2 guys that I clicked with. Everyone else was strange, only wanting sex, or sending wiener pics :s . I did get some fun stories out of it though!

This sounds good! I've done something similar using zucchini.

I'll go take a nap for you because just reading that made me tired. Lol. Glad your trip went well and glad you liked the cookies!

I think @anbrdr suggested everything I was going to. You could do cottage cheese or yogurt too. Portioned carrots or other veggies and a dip made with Greek yogurt. You could make egg muffins, like this: http://iowagirleats.com/2012/02/16/mini-ham-cheese-quinoa-cups/ or other combinations. ETA: I (stupidly) got on…

This is great! Thank you!

PM'ed you so as not to clutter up the thread too much. :D

I squat low-bar. High-bar is too uncomfortable once the weight starts getting heavy. 10-20lbs was probably 5-10% of what I was doing pre-surgery. I did more assistancy-type work like good mornings, glute bridges, goblet squats, things like that. After about 2 weeks post-surgery, I started feeling incredibly flabby, so I…

I waited 3 months to get back into powerlifting and basically started at the beginning because I wasn't sure how well I would do with eating 1/4 of what I used to, plus having lost a bunch of weight. In the meantime, I used dumbbells in the 10-20lb range starting after about a month. It's been a little over 3 months since…

If it didn't smell/taste off, you should be fine.

1. Make sure to hit my protein goal daily--including weekends when I tend to slide 2. Incorporate exercise on one weekend day each week 3. Continue current weight/cardio routine 4. Go to bed earlier 5. Consistently plan, shop, and cook for meals

What is your protein and fat intake like? Do you eat back exercise calories?

This was my lunches all last week. I sauted some red peppers, garlic, and onion for more texture and flavor. http://www.briana-thomas.com/single-serve-lasagna-in-a-bowl/ My snacks/dessert for this week. I used sugar-free cheesecake pudding and frozen raspberries.…

For breakfast, I had some store brand frozen berries that I cooked into a protein crumble. Lunch was leftover chicken vindaloo that had tomatoes, onions, and potatoes in, but they were cooked too, so don't count either. I have raw carrots for a snack, but there's a 70/30 chance they won't get eaten because I have no peanut…

This x 100. I do cardio at home. I have a stationary bike and I do step-aerobics videos from Youtube (free!). I throw in some of the Leslie Sansone Walk At Home videos on occasion (there are some free ones on Youtube). I have access to a gym at work, so I do Starting Strength three times a week. I use videos from these…

Or maybe they can fit pie and ice cream in their daily calorie goals so they eat it when they feel like it.

Ditto, except I got mine is March of this year... 3 days after my birthday. It was the best present ever. :) I don't regret doing it for a second and only wish I had done it sooner. The wife of a coworker just had her lapband out after years of issues. I think she's now considering the sleeve.

Don't close out your diary. There is no need to. All it does is generate a message that posts on your newsfeed. You won't lose any info by not closing it out. I haven't closed mine in probably 2+ years.

I've tried the lemon cake one. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't buy it again, mostly because I didn't feel like it was worth the price.

I've been buying most of my stuff at either Walmart or Kohl's. Sports bras are purchased online. I tend to go for cheap since I'm just going to sweat in them.

I don't see how it would be an issue if it works for you. I have a time limit on my workouts since I workout at lunch, so I (used to) do squats on Tues/Thurs and alternate everything else on MWF. It worked out pretty well.

Dried beans, rice, peanut butter, pasta, ramen. Watch for sales on dairy and eggs. Buy meat in bulk when it goes on sale.

I watched some show where an interviewer was talking to a man that had one of these. The man demonstrated how it worked. It was *baby rhino* gross.

@ssbeadlady Not true, so don't listen to this. You're not in starvation mode. One thing my doctor continues to stress to me is to realize that it may be more difficult for me, as a woman, to lose weight than my husband (we both had the sleeve). However, my weight has been steadily decreasing (I'm eating about 900 a day…
