I made this last night with a few modifications. -I used sharp cheddar instead of mozzarella. -No green onion because I forgot it. -Accidentally used a little too much stock for the sauce so it didn't thicken. Instead of using cornstarch as a thickener, I served this with rice. I put some rice down, the chicken on top,…

Honestly, wait until that business is fully healed. You don't want to mess around with things like that. I'd say when your doctor gives you the all clear to resume your activities is when you start up again.

Make your own breakfast burritos. Wrap them individually in plastic and then store in a gallon-sized bag in the freezer. You can use corn tortillas and whatever fillings you like. If you premake them on your day off, you can just grab one and microwave for a few minutes. Easy peasy.

Give 3x5 a shot and see how you do. I made pretty good progress and the reduced time was awesome.

Never too late! I used to work at a vocational college and there was a lady in her 70s. My boss's wife went to school and got her RN after her children graduated from college. I think she's in her late 50s/early 60s.

The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. It was meh. Currently reading The Violets of March by Sarah Jio and it's awkwardly written like the $.99 and free books on Amazon tend to be.

I must be one of these too. Red meat is expensive and I can't cook fish. Identity crisis averted.

That's what the seeing eye dogs are for: they lick it out.

Awesome idea. Mirey is incredible!

Dooooo it! I used to have to move things around due to the availability of the rack and benches. Switching the order on those two shouldn't cause any issues.

Agreed! I just got one 2 weeks ago. I'm less tired at the end of the day and my feet don't swell nearly as much.

This x 1000. If you're unsure of the timelines, check back in with your doctor.

Sandwiches, frozen meals, or Chef Boyardee.

I spill stuff regardless. Doesn't deter me; I just eat the stuff off my shirt.

Run 1/2 hour earlier. Wait for her and then follow her to her destination. Shove dog turds in the tailpipe of her car.

I really like this idea.

Looks good!

I flipped back through your diary, and I know you said that you haven't been diligent about your logging recently, so I think that's where you need to start. Log EVERYTHING. Several of your days, you didn't log dinner. Did you eat or just not log? If you're losing inches, then I think you need to continue to focus on that.…

How much weight are you trying to lose? How accurate is your food logging? Are you weighing all solids and measuring all liquids?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUaInS6HIGo The above video is kind of long, but talks about the health benefits (not weight loss) of walking 30 minutes a day.

It's only been one week. Patience and consistency are going to be key. Make sure you're accurately logging your food (weigh solids, measure liquids) and just give yourself some time.

I have these bookmarked to try, but haven't actually made them yet: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/salmon-with-polenta-50400000131063/ http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/sausage-ragu-creamy-polenta-50400000118618/

I use them as a sauce for pasta or spread on sandwiches. I just made some last night: scooped out 2 avocados, lemon juice, 1 T olive oil, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes and blitz in a food processor until smooth. Basically, guacamole but smoother. You need rip avocados, otherwise it just gets chunky. Still tastes ok…

It looks like it could be a little bit of both. Do you lift weights at all when you're at the gym? Incorporating strength training can help things tighten up.
-
Forget mine and do this instead.

http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/member/views/GORDON-RAMSAYS-BROCCOLI-SOUP-50090789 ^I make that recipe a lot. It's a good side dish and you can jazz it up in any way that you please.

Ditto. And there are men that are part of the group. They chime in every once in a while. There is a Stronglifts 5x5 group, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/5542-stronglifts-5x5, but it's not really very active. This one is much more chatty, so you're more likely to get a fast answer to your questions here.

I was coming here to post this. I've looked into it, but can't justify the monthly fee.

I have the Fitbit One that I wear clipped to my bra. Good: I like gadgets. I like seeing how many steps I've taken through the day. If I don't wear it, I find I don't really care about moving around too much because "it doesn't count". I only get around 3-4k steps a day on my own, so this gives me the added incentive to…
