  • Don't choke! I've tried sleeping with headphones before, I can only imagine what a tangled walking cape would be like! LOL
  • Thread broke on page one...no going on after Daniel Craig... I only wear PJs when I'm staying at other people's houses. Otherwise, nothing.
  • You are amazing! Keep up the good work. Every time I see someone heavier then me going for it, and occasionally *passing* me--I wanna give them a high five! You remind me of my mom too. :D She recently got down under 200lbs--for the first time in years--I wanted to throw her a gettin' smaller party or something. LOL
  • Or if you want something "light hearted" here I could tell you that my husband the Ph.D asked me where his iPad was last night, WHILE he was playing a game on it! Or that I once couldn't find my phone for a whole day because I slipped it in a grocery bag that went into the fridge and had to wait 3 hours while the battery…
  • I'm trying not to (I do this way too much---then again I grew up with sisters who constantly made fun of me--esp. "You don't know that?! You're SO DUMB!")--because ultimately--all us smart people (yup I'm talking to you!)will occasionally do dumb things. All we're doing thinking that is adding to the pile of things we've…
  • You know what I'm sick of? Periodic Creeper posting from men. We're not all up in your jock straps--GTFO! So sick of trolls...
  • I'm a 36DDD--I love my Enell bra for high impact--people don't yell "get a bra!" out there car windows at me anymore (I was wearing 3 at the time).
  • What's super amazing is how much more awesome and sexy and amazing you look now then you ever did with the anorexia or bulimia. So glad you are working on those issues and being healthy. How gorgeous are you?! Lovely.
  • I know! I can't stop. HELP!
  • At the fridge, Time for lunch, I look around--"Hey it's brunch!" Hashbrowns with ketchup, fried eggs and sausage, I do the cal calculations and suddenly I'm nauseous. Later, can't decide what to eat, just a small little treat... greek yogurt's for the thin, so I eat the whole bin. Oh yes, singing the plateau blues. *I'm on…
  • Yes Capt--and that explains a lot. ;)
  • A new, "Blizzard of the month?" "Well, I'll just try it onths" I lisp as I drool on the spoon, I've had a "bad day" Pray the pounds stay away, yes, I'm singing the plateau blues.
  • Wanna get "buck wild?!" Have some Ben & Jerry's, child! The freezer has none, So I grab the keys and I "run" to the the car--just for fun "I'll get fro-yo," I say, but I can't stay away-- yes I'm singing the plateau blues!
  • This doesn't fit your stanza verse, but it worked fairly well, so: I start to feel "tight," I've earned pizza tonight! I'm riddled with hate; I self-flagellate. I look at my thighs; they can't empathize. Just want that pizza again. I look at the phone; the cheese makes me moan. So I type that number back in.
  • Yeah. Sometimes MFP is a little like high school, but it's easy enough to avoid those topics. Just don't participate. Some people are shallow and into that stuff, and some aren't. It's all about who you choose to surround yourself with. Much like life. Best wishes.
  • Nicely done. Those free pizzas are tricky buggers I tell you.
  • Anna, you are definitely not an idiot. It sounded like it might be "doubling up" your exercise "calorie credits," as it were. But now it sounds like it over-rides your fitbit data. So, you're cool. Hang in there and keep doing what you do. Ignore the haters. My sister still tells people she thought I was "anorexic" when I…
  • Sarah, I didn't start in first grade, but about 4th grade I started getting hairy and wearing deodorant. I got my period in the last month of 5th grade. I got my first facial hair in 7th grade. Thank god I pretty much only had one or two going though middle school/high school. I have a few more now, not as bad as a few…
  • Correct. If you're wearing your HRM to know when to do "cool downs" because your blood pressure is too high, only us it for that. The "fit bit" records all your movements as well and puts them on MFP. You should stop recording the HRM stuff on here. It'll mess up your food allowance.
  • Oh! Roundgal's got a point! Snack pack stuff can be great. Keep a spoon in your purse and go for some "no sugar added" applesauce. Also, 100 calorie packs can be good--just be careful on what you get, cookies are still cookies. Then again, it's excellent portion control. My husband used to roll his eyes at me when I would…
  • Hmm...well some of these are convenience foods some are non-perishable. I occasionally boil up a few hard boiled eggs and keep them in the fridge for an odd snack or two. Starbucks has a pretty good "Protein Bistro Box" with cheese, fruit, small bread thing with peanut butter and a hard boiled egg. That used to be my…
  • 5'8" I guess, but I'm not that picky. Husband is 5'11"--but I've dated shorter then that and taller. It really just depends on the guy. If they have a complex about there height, one way or the other, I wouldn't go for them. All about the attitude.
  • Start by tracking everything you eat--measure all your food--it's annoying but will help you in the long run. You don't even have to change anything at first. Just to be aware of how much a "serving" is and how much you're eating. You can start fairly easy if you want. Try to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park…
  • LOL. Not that kind of rabbit. The watch band has the pointy edges--the bunny has a penchant for chewing on rubber and plastic. Dirty, dirty mind.
  • This. Though I'm bad at my body image stuff, I really need to work on it, so I think it's awesome you love who you are and want to "live long and prosper." ;) Feel free to add me. :D
  • 5'3" PCOS for a while now. It's a total b****. Let's do this thing!
  • Try really hard not to remain sitting once you get home. Honestly. It makes all the difference in the world. Even just an hour of leisurely walking around the block or a mall can help. Lifting weights while watching tv. An exercise bike or jogging in place in front of the television. Anything to get you moving. A dance…
  • Wow! A new one to me "Long Gone Now" looks like a soundtrack only one. I thought I had all of his stuff. :D Thanks. I'll have to check out "BeerJacket"--love a new artist. :D
  • "This years love" and "Babylon" are definitely on the top 10. Thanks! I'm trying to make a cd for someone whose never heard him before. Hard to pick!
