Plateau Blues

Every day I log in. I'm feeling like sin.
A cheesecake sings it siren song to me.
I'm built like a cow. I won't eat it now.
A skinny person's what I want to be.

Don't you know? I'm on a plateau
And I'm singin' the plateau blues.
I feel like a whale. I get on the scale
And I'm singin' those plateau blues.

I know the GI. I just want that pie.
But hold back on the whipped cream if you will.
I can't lose the weight. I'm filled with self hate.
You'd think you could just cure this with a pill.

You'd think I'd be wise and go exercise.
This stiffness in my back won't go away.

    This doesn't fit your stanza verse, but it worked fairly well, so:

    I start to feel "tight," I've earned pizza tonight!
    I'm riddled with hate; I self-flagellate.

    I look at my thighs; they can't empathize.
    Just want that pizza again.
    I look at the phone; the cheese makes me moan.
    So I type that number back in.

    I salivate when I see my friend Ben.
    The freezer's call is from my good friend Jerry.
    It's Chunky Monkey or Chubby Hubby.
    I think I'm gonna puke from so much dairy.

    Oh, no! My brain is on an infinite loop of this rhythm. HELP!!!

    At the fridge,
    Time for lunch,
    I look around--"Hey it's brunch!"
    Hashbrowns with ketchup,
    fried eggs and sausage,
    I do the cal calculations
    and suddenly I'm nauseous.

    Later,
    can't decide what to eat,
    just a small little treat...
    greek yogurt's for the thin,
    so I eat the whole bin.
    Oh yes, singing the plateau blues.
