thanks! i will search for that.

It is open to friends only right now. And really, I think it is hormonal more than caloric because I have not been straying to far from my goal.
-
Thanks, I will soldier on!

Bump-Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

Water intake is great and I had 2 bad sodium days so poured on extra. Just want to keep moving in the right direction and not back peddle.

Welcome aboard!

Give up wine? that's crazy talk. I bank for it daily and I am still loosing weight. I am actually unable to tolerate as much as before when I was 34 pounds heavier. So i am saving money too!
-
I eat 1200 calories most of the time, am losing a pound a week and have a lot of muscle. Are you talking net or gross?-that confuses a lot of people. I never get the 'starvation warning" either.
-
Wow-great pictures! You wore the same clothes which really emphasized the difference. Congratulations! really proud of you.

You are all killin' me! I have to wait until at least 5pm. (2 hoooours) Plus now that I have dropped a few lbs I am easily inebriated! Or a cheap date as my husband would say. This being said, Roderer reserve Champage for starters!

Visually, I noticed it in my face first, especially chin area. But many people did not say anything until about 20-25 lbs dropped. And I was surprised by a co worker that asked me if I was ok, he thought I might be ill and that was why the weight was coming off. So some people are squishy about how to comment.

You look fantastic! Way to stick with it and I am very excited for you!
-
you are flexing for the camera
-
I am with you- my sense of humor as well!
-
You can do this! Add me- I have great support and that is how this has worked for me.

I eat 1200 ish and exercise and don't eat back my exercise calories. It works for me. This site already calcs what you need. Don't over think it, go with what is working and what you are comfortable with.

Yes, boredom eating is something I cave to as well!
-
It's been pretty accurate for me.

I don't know either and have wondered, I do a lot of stremgth training and it is logged under cardio.

Someone posted a picture of me from March, I looked like I had been sucking on an airhose. Cheers!

I was 5'10 but am starting to shrink, so at 5'9 and 3/4 I am shooting for 160-165. That was a do-able weight for me 10+ years ago, but now I have more muscle and am not sure if that weight will be what I want once I get there.

I am on my 3rd scale. My first one was always 10 pounds under what the doctors office said so naturally the doctor's scale MUST be wrong.....not. So I bought a new one in August and have been using that, I think I paid $35 for it. But it is too inconsistent and gives me a different weight in the same location or if I move…

congratulations on your success!

Welcome aboard, this is the place! add me if you like-also in California.

It also depends on your age. Starting at 46, I have had 2 week cycles and then nothing for 3 months. My Ob/Gyn told me to stop my period by taking 600 mg motrin a couple times a day if the flow was heavy after a week-it helps clot. But-you should definetly see an md at PP as soon as you can. And yes, weight gain or no loss…

Regardless of how everyone else looked. You SHOWED up and did it! That is your milestone and you can mark it down! Besides 80's fashion was seriously goofy-no one looked really great. B BTW, your picture shows how pretty you are, remember that.

I just did this in DC. I looked at my watch when we left the hotel and backed out any breaks/lunches/train rides until I was back and sitting on my *kitten*. For the most part I did between 2.5 and 3 mpf an hour at least 5-6 hours per day, depending on street walking vs. museum. Sightseeing is a great way to burn calories!
-
wow! That looks great, cannot wait to try some of the recipes, thank you!
