  • Yes it is, This is a very common misconception, While the percentage of fat burned in the cardio zone is lower, more calories are burned overall including more fat calories.
  • I use the Kinect fitness games I've tried Dance Central, Zumba Fitness, and UFC personal trainer. The first two I traded in, the third I still have. Dance Central was decent; it had a good tutorial that fully explained the movements, during game play it also had a list of upcoming movements and the dance moves were fun and…
  • Yes you would subtract the weight of the bowl. Newer scales can cancel the weight of the vessel this is called the tare function.
  • I like the kinect, it gives more freedom of movement and not needing controllers is really nice, so you don't have to worry about accidentally throwing it during a workout. Only downside I have is the space requirement. I have to move some chairs when I use it. As for games I've tried dance central, Zumba Fitness, and UFC…
  • I use HIIT when I run. I like, it helps pack a lot into a short work out. I'm pretty happy with the results so far.
  • I've got an 360 so we got a used kinect for $120. Playstation has the PS move. Both have mostly the same workout games.

Basically it's a cardio plan where you alternate between light and extreme exercise, what I do is; light jog 2 min run all out 1 min and repeat for 15-20 min. From reading…
  • I've had this same problem happen to me; from what I’ve read about it. Aside from new muscle being created along with fat loss; it's also your body's store of glycogen increasing too. Since glycogen is made of mostly water it weighs a lot. Especially if it's only been a few weeks since you started exercising; as your body…
