Welcome!! MyFitnessPal is a great tool and the community here is great, too. :) Congrats on all of your previous losses! That's awesome. Feel free to friend me! I'm working on losing the rest of my baby weight and then some. I had baby #4 three weeks ago. :)

If you go under food and search for "breastfeeding" or "Breast feeding", you can find something that works for you. It adds in NEGATIVE cals to your food diary. I have a 3 week old, so I have mine set to give me 500 extra food calories. Why not start with that and go from there? If that's not enough, add more! :)

I am just 15 days postpartum, so I'm not feeling like hitting it hard just yet, but I plan to exercise in the evenings/night like I usually do when I'm working out. After the majority of the kids are in bed for the night.. it's my favorite time!

Reading, puzzles, mazes and dot to dots, cutting and pasting, playing with magnetic letters and numbers on a cookie sheet, playdoh and bendaroos, board games, educational TV shows (like the Planet Earth series, for example)... it all counts as school around here!

We do, too!

I would love more friends, too!

Thanks everyone. :) I used MFP about a year ago to lose some weight and am having a fairly good time using it to track this time. ;) I will be excited to get to start working up to doing some intense workouts in several weeks... I had just gotten into Turbo Jam right before we sold our house, moved, and found out we were…

I set myself to lose half a pound I think and my calories are set at 1500... then I add 500 for nursing, which gives me a total around 2,000. Since my baby is so brand new (a week and a half!), I'm not sweating it if I go over a bit... in fact, it's probably no big deal at all... especially considering how MUCH I ate when…

Congrats and welcome to the group! I just had my 4th, a little guy, on the 19th :) Have you looked into doing belly binding/compression? I have never done it before, but I decided I'd try it this time. It supposedly helps with some of the shrinkage of belly and hip jiggle and helps get the skin back in place. More info:…

I say give yourself some time! What ended up helping me a TON after my first was pilates 3x a week and tae bo or step aerobics 2-3x/week. I'm trying to lose the flab from #3 now and Turbo Jam has been great!!

I *love* the margarita grilled chicken!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!

Amazzing!! and you look SO much younger!!!

I always used to do that as a kid and teen. Even now as an adult, I can't stand to use more than about 1 tablespoon of dressing (ranch), even if it is a HUGE salad. I usually dip the tip of my fork in the dressing really lightly and then get a huge forkful of salad.

We homeschool as well! Have you looked at the Well Trained Mind forums? Great resource there. :) We do a mish mash of things here, too - not much of a boxed education kind of mom myself because it drives *me* crazy, but I'll probably change my mind as the kids get older (my oldest is going into 1st).

How wonderful!! :)

i love salad with the teeny tiniest bit of feta and slivered almonds - and I use the spray dressings sometimes to help keep the calories low (or just use 1/2 or 1 tablespoon of a lower cal ranch since that's what I like best) Or I load up my salad greens with cucumber, carrots, and a little bit of cheddar cheese. yum!

Do you have a Bountiful Baskets or other similar co-op near you? Or access to a CSA? That's how we get our veggies at a fair price and much cleaner/higher quality than at the store

Her Walk Club online is great, too. It's something like $25/year and she puts walking videos up on the website each month - and currently there are videos up there from January until now - about 4 or 5 per month. Sometimes they are repeats and sometimes it'll be a 3 mile walk that takes 1 mile from this video, 1 mile from…

I did the push up challenge 3 years ago and it made me feel AMAZING!!!!! I may have to look into the sit up challenge. Looks good

Freezing is never a biggie at all - have you thought about getting smaller loaves? I know there's the standard loaf size, but our Albertson's and several other stores in our area sell much smaller loaves (more like the size of a bread pan at home loaf) as well.

Have you ever tried Turbo Jam?
-
I love doing walk at home workouts with Leslie Sansone! Turbo Jam has a great 20 minute and a few great 30 minute workouts. :) I have a whole Youtube list of QUICK workouts: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL493E9C28673DA349&feature=mh_lolz

I've done some marathon cooking sessions doing once a month cooking, and I could totally see logging that!
