  • Me! He is my 5th baby and 10 weeks old. I'm ready to look and feel like ME again!
  • I'm adding 500 as well. A friend of mine does, too, but logs it as an exercise rather than a food.
  • 193 (pregnant) 5'3" Nonpregnant high was around 175 (postpartum) I'm around 130 now.
  • Well I'm glad to see it's not just me, then! :) I've never really looked or cared too much about those numbers, but lately the sugar number has been bothering me. I like the idea of focusing on fiber instead..
  • Those are all things I gave up for almost 8 months going paleo. I'd much rather eat carbs like raspberries and carrots - but those have high sugar. I'm not doing paleo this month, but I am still not going to be eating corn or wheat. It seems silly for MFP to have such a low sugar amount and high carb count- I don't see how…
  • I've been making bacon-wrapped sweet potato fries and they are soooooooooooooooo good!! Just chop your sweet potato to about pinkie-sized pieces, wrap with 1/4 of a bacon slice (half the bacon length and width wise), line up on the baking sheet (throw in any extra non-bacon pieces so they can cook up in the grease!), and…
  • I would love some new friends, too! While I am going for weight loss, I'm at a weight that I'd be comfortable at for the rest of my life. What I'm hoping for is to start feeling more alive and less addicted to sugars and processed JUNK! I am am other of 4 (ranging from almost 9 months to 7 1/2 years) and we homeschool and…
  • My baby is a little over 5 months. I've lost all the weight in my ticker since coming home from the hospital, so I've actually lost an additional 16 pounds during the birth (placenta, baby). :-P I'm 10 lbs below my PP weight and have eaten between 1800-2100 calories total the whole time! Oh and only 30 days/6 pounds of…
  • I love to make a HUGE salad with 5-6 cups of greens and about 2TBSP of a dressing that is 50 calories or less.... sometimes topped with about 110 calories worth of grilled chicken if I need more protein. Strawberries or cantaloupe are also some favs! I agree- the world won't end if you got a hundred or two over. :)
  • This is me, too. I weigh myself on average 4-6 times a week. It does tend to fluctuate, which is only bothersome if it goes up several days in a row. Otherwise, it's fun to see the numbers on a regular basis. It is very motivating for me.
  • Terrific job! You look awesome!
  • I love, love, love sweets, too! I have not given them up. I just make sure I stay within my daily calories and move on. One thing I love to do that helps with the sweets craving is to incorporate it into something healthier. I love making a shake of a frozen banana, some PB2, coconut or almond milk, a TBSP of cocoa, and a…
  • It really has gotten me down more than I thought it would. I need to just press on and quit worrying about it. This is for my HEALTH... for my kids.
  • Other things to consider adding to smoothies - chia seeds, ground flax, coconut flour, peanut butter, cottage cheese, full fat greek yogurt
  • You can try them out for free on http://www.lionsgatebefit.com/ or by looking around on Youtube.
  • Hi there! I'm considering this diet in addition to my normal calorie tracking/exercising. The hardest thing for me will be giving up chocolate treats!
  • I tend to lose more when I eat more. It weirds me out every time! I'll have 3 days where I go over and then BAM I have lost a pound.
  • YOU ROCK!!! Congratulations!!! You look FANTASTIC! <3
  • your net calories should ALWAYS be at least 1200, especially while nursing! Fuel your machines, ladies! :) I've lost over 27 pounds in 3 months this way (weighed when I got home from the hospital, so that's not including the 16+ pounds I lost the first 3 days after he was born). :) This has been great for us because my…
  • Here is how I did it - I went ahead and put my regular goals into MFP as if I was not a nursing mom at all. That set me at 1500 calories based on my goals and my activity level, etc. Each day, I add in the "food" item of Breastfeeding that fits my needs. SO my daily goal is 2,000 calories each day. I have lost over 26…
  • spaghetti with alfredo sauce and chicken, broccoli, grapes
  • Between 1800-22200 usually. Baby is 3 months and I've slacked on exercise...but I would eat those cals back if I earned them!
  • I'd be happy to have more friends! :) My little guy is going to be 3 months on Thursday. :) I also have 3 other kiddos. I'm less than 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight, and then I have another 10-15 to lose after that. :)
  • If I was doing that, I'd count it as nursing twins, I think.
  • Welcome! I'm a homeschooling mom of 4 as well. :) My oldest is 7. It's great to have you here! I'm off to send you a request.

  • I've been eating between 1800-2100 calories total. My "goal" is to net about 1500 a day. I've been losing consistently. My ticker is weight loss since getting home from the hospital. My little guy is 11 1/2 weeks old
  • Pregnancies... I started out around 130 with my first child, delivered at 180... Started my next pregnancy around 134, delivered at 176... Started my next pregnancy at 127 (I had used SparkPeople to lose weight this time and quickly lost almost 30lb in 3 months and then found out I was pregnant!), delivered at…
  • I'm considering doing this when I reach my goal weight, have the funds, and am totally sure I'm done having kids. :)
  • Oh yummy! I've done this with apples lots of times... never thought of doing it with peaches!
  • While I can see both sides of this, someone commenting on me eating too many carbs or too many cookies would just make me laugh. I'm going to eat what I want to eat and I logged it and am completely aware of what choices I made that day. Honestly, if I stay within a fairly close range in my calories, ate a variety of…
