I like the new lifestyle diet shakes and bars. A little expensive but don't taste bad at all. I used them successfully to lose quite a bit of weight awhile back.

I appreciate the feedback! I usually don't eat before work outs, and I haven't had any problems with keeping my energy up. I eat a meal high in protein, and higher in carbs then most other meals I have during the day.

If I am understanding correctly, they said a 1 year weight loss program. Maybe 12 weeks is just the start to see how things are going and then adjust accordingly?

That's all I've been doing lately, 5 miles or so a day, everyday. I enjoy it! I've lost 6 lbs just doing that and watching what I eat!

The amount of calories burned depends on a lot of things. The intensity and length of the exercise and also your weight. If you are putting your weight into the machine when programming it, and keeping your hands on the heart monitor the whole time, then go with what the machine says!
