I would cut back on the bread a bit. I know it's a big culprit for triggering binges with me. Have your peanut butter on an apple instead, or with your yoghurt. Try to make sure you shop for success too! That means don't buy the foods you love to binge on, find other things to eat. May not be easy if you have to buy food…

If you're looking for ways to stay on top of housecleaning, I really recommend looking at flylady.net. She is big on the "15 mins at a time" thing, and has loads of ways to build habits and routines to keep things manageable. I've been incorporating some of her ideas, and they really do work.

I've lost 45 lbs and am still wearing the same size clothes, although I do occasionally notice them being a bit more comfortable than they used to be. Basically I was wearing these clothes when they were probably a bit too tight, and now they're getting comfortable. Some time next year maybe I'll actually go down a size!

Yes it is too soon to be muscle. You were right the first time when you said it was water weight. Some people can go up and down 5 or 6 lbs just on water, so don't worry. Keep drinking your water and it will come back off.

I think you already know how to deal with them. Tell them to talk to each other to sort it out, and that talking to you won't get anything sorted. I grew up being my mother's confidante/counsellor/therapist. It's no place for a child to be, even if you are officially an adult now.
