I believe if you're planning on healthy living and eating for the rest of your life, then adding in some "treats" is fine. However, I would still log those treats and keep account of your calories, so you know what you're putting in your body. Having said that though, I've had parties with various home cooked buffet food,…

Did you have trouble controlling your appetite before the meds? If, as you say, you don't eat much, then I don't see why you need an appetite suppressant. Maybe I'm missing something here?

I'm now doing it on my own ( with my MFP family). I tried getting help from my doctor and the dietician at my local hospital, but their help didn't seem very helpful - just told me things I already knew without dealing with my specific problems. So now I'm doing it my way, and it's working, but it's a long slow steady road.

I've been going to a gym since I was 405lbs.. but then I'm guessing I don't have the same fear of being judged. At that point, I got comments on the street.. it was actually better in the gym, because at least there it was obvious I was doing something about it!
-
I weigh myself in my gym clothes with shoes on. Yes it probably weighs a few lb more than if I was naked.. but I figure my clothes weigh about the same each time. I am NOT stripping off naked in the gym!

Maybe women who can manage to drink only 125 ml of wine in one go, are better able to moderate their eating habits too. That's about the only correlation I can think of :P Please people, don't go drinking wine thinking it will help you lose weight. Alcohol has calories too!

If this exercise is a new thing for you, then it's likely just your body retaining water to repair. Also, it's the first week, give it time to show! This is also assuming you're weighing at the same time of day and in the same state.

Look around for pilates classes that have a properly qualified teacher. My pilates teacher has had ladies come in on crutches to her beginners class. Some can work on a chair, some can work on a ball, some can manage to do floor work. Also search for "chair aerobics". These tend to be tailored towards the elderly and…

Anorexic people lose weight by going past the bit of starvation mode where your body holds onto everything it can. They just starve themselves completely. Your body can only adapt so much to a reduced calorie intake - if you stop putting fuel in your mouth, it will eventually burn off everything it can, including muscle.

So 4.9 mile at 3.2 mph is about 90 mins. I'd go with the 3mph entry to underestimate, but that's me.
-
Hypnosis, maybe? It seems to be able to do some pretty wacky things.
-
I helped my best friend at uni out of "drunkorexia" then. She was surviving on coffee and whiskey... and liberal quantities of both.

Look around for some nice herbal teas. I have some spice ones that really hit the spot, one has licorice in and the other has cocoa beans/husks in. They taste good, but without the calories :)

In my gym clothes, including shoes. After breakfast, and a toilet break. I could get the total number down if I was willing to strip off in the gym... but the consistency means I see the results and I get to keep my clothes on!

Do you have your activity level set correctly given you're now an active mother? I really doubt if you're sedentary anymore, that's for sure! Personally, I wouldn't stick so rigidly to a diet that I ignored what my body was trying to tell me. If you feel you need to lower your rate of loss by a 1/2 lb per week, then do so.

I like to put the treadmill to at least 2%, just to get the feel that I have to pick my feet up. I think 4% may be closer to outside. It may sound like a small amount, but you can really feel the difference in your legs :)

My friends call me Annie or Moushtie My mother had a nasty habit of calling me Fanny-Anne. In front of my friends! My siblings called me Titch, or Pickle. My loves have called me anything from Angel, and sweetipie, to loversausage and stinkypoo. I put up with a lot :P

i don't know about where you are, but there's been a nasty bug going round where I am that's taken a while to get rid of. Give your body what it needs to get better. If you can do gentle exercise, sure, but I wouldn't push it too hard, your body is obviously fighting something off.

Get on with your thing. Say hi to him occasionally. Tell him he's doing well. If his english is limited, that's probably all you can do for now. He'll either move on or his english will improve :P I doubt he means any harm, as you don't seem overly concerned that he has a crush on you

My herb/fruit/spice teas I definitely count as water!

Do you judge everyone you see when you go to the pool? Well , they ain't judging you either. Get out there! Once you're in the pool, all they can see if your beautiful face anyway!

Moisturise overnight - this means slathering on large amounts of thick moisturiser, then putting a sock over it to keep the moisturiser next to your skin. Then use surgical/micropore tape over it during the day to keep it together. Probably salt water soak to get the tape off ready for the next night's moisturising. This…

Generally.. find a pillow and pound it.. Or bash the pillow against the bed. Exercise for me only helps with anger in the long run, not the short term.
-
This is why, when I feel like someone may be being rude, I smile directly at them and say hello. If they were being nice, then they smile and say hello back. If they were being rude, then I either find out exactly how rude, or they suddenly realise they're talking to a real person and not some stereotype put there for…

wondering is like thinking wandering is like walking Better?

I believe the old motto is "Starve a fever and feed a cold". So it sounds like your body is telling you to do exactly the right thing!

For the damage already done.. nappy rash ointment can help it heal up, if it's very sore. This is why I don't wear skirts anymore! At least not without leggings underneath.
-
I really want to make that now!

Water weighs 500g (about 1 lb) for every 500 ml ( about a pint) and has no calories, so his theory has to be wrong! Calories are based on what your body can burn as energy, and there is lots of yummy fat in potato chips, and fat has approx 3 times the calories/gram than protein or carbs. Plus of course, foods containing…

Find a small craft project you can do in between jobs? I make friendship bracelets, because they're small and easy to pick up and put down, but I'm sure there are other things you could be doing to keep your hands busy. I know I took cross stitching in to one job!
