^^ It's this.. unless it's stretch marks, but there's a difference. What looks like cat scratches vs. rippled red "tears".

I've always wondered- on bagged frozen chicken- the 4 oz "serving" size, do they mean frozen, thawed, or cooked? They never specify, and frozen or cooked never comes out to 4 oz. :\ Haven't actually stopped to weigh it once it thaws, so maybe I already know the answer.... heh.

The idea of working out through a migraine makes my head hurt thinking about it. About the only exercise I get during one is from rocking back in forth in misery. lol How about swimming? The jarring impact from everything else would kill me, but swimming is fluid and gentle. If not actual swimming, you could always use…

^^ This. I have one of those huge hospital water "mugs" they give ya when you've been admitted.. it holds like 30 ounces.. I try to drink 2 of those a day. Oh- and the straw idea- it helps, too!

I know the consensus is to drink something sugar-free, but, in my personal opinion, sugar-free anything is harmful. In two ways- 1. Obviously we all know the SF chemicals are unhealthy- sure it tastes good, and it allows us to cheat on our mindful eating by allowing us to have something sweet, but it's man-made chemicals…

I think that is an excellent theory! I know that when I drink sodas (diet or otherwise) I don't go out of my way to drink ANY water.

bodyrock.tv, kickboxing, zumba. Lost an insane amount of inches in 2 months from that combo.

I wear form-fitting yoga shorts, and a sports bra. I will continue wearing the same picture-taking outfit until I hit goal, so that I can see the differences.
-
I take them once a month on my measurements day (the 1st of every month).. I don't plan on posting them anywhere, it's so that *I* can see the difference.

^^^ and then there's cheese, nuts, nut butter, milk, yogurt... A glass of milk & a small handful of almonds, or string cheese, is a great little snack.

I just signed up for the Oregon one.. my first race ever! :D

^^^ Exactly. I would bring a giant veggieful salad (with light & regular dressings on the side) for everyone to share, and fill half my plate with that. Then, remove all the skin/breading from a chicken breast, and take maybe a bite worth of each of the other items so that I don't feel deprived. Show them by example how…

Bump for the laughs. :)

^^^ great guidelines.
-
- Drink or eat extra protein to aid in muscle repair (within half an hour of the activity is best). - Hot epsom salt baths, for each day muscles are sore. - Massage. - Keep active- light walking, or cardio.

I don't mess around when it comes my beloved peanut butter. It's the one thing I make sure to budget into my day. I use a tablespoon measuring spoon, pack that sucker full, turn the spoon upside down and slide it off the edge of the jar so that the excess stays in the jar. I use my finger to scoop it out of the spoon, lick…

I love this.

I hope this works.. I love Kelly Clarkson when she's on the thicker side.. she's beautiful skinny, too, but I love the voluptuousness, and it's more obtainable for my body style. I would LOVE it if I could have a fit body like Zuzana Light (former host of bodyrock.tv), I think she's amazing.. but I don't think my body…

At home, I stick to what labels define as a single serving, and then I measure or weigh. Away from home I use these guidelines for measuring (a visual guide using your hand as reference): http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=32681&sc=3006

One of the bloggers I follow bakes hers to toast them.. and uses that as a crunchy topping for her oatmeal, yogurt, etc. http://www.healthytippingpoint.com/toasted-quinoa

I have peanut/ almond butter daily, and pizza once every week or two.

Cardio: Kickboxing M/W/F, Zumba T/Th Strength: bodyrock.tv routine each day. Though while I'm doing physical therapy these 2 weeks, it's been mostly water aerobics/ calisthenics, or some yoga.

Kale chips! I normally just use Smart Balance spray and salt, but I've actually got a batch of (Smart Balance spray) sea salt & vinegar in the oven right now. I'm thinking soy sauce & wasabi might be my next experiment. All the crunch of a chip (try not to overcooked or they burn and taste gross), but all the nutrients of…

bumpin'.. great ideas!

Nope. Bodyrock.tv - it's free/ online, can be done at home, and body-weight only (equipment is optional). I prefer Zuzana's old routines to the new stuff, but they currently have a 30-day challenge going on with some new hosts.

Nalley's lite lumberjack syrup is actually pretty good. It's all we use over here for 'cakes and waffles. I've even been known to add a little bit to my plain greek yogurt for something sweet.

^^^ This. I've been losing inches everywhere, including my waist, but that stupid belly overhang has prevented me from dropping a pant size because that overhang stays "full". My shirts, shoes, and my pant LEGS are way loose, but I can't get rid of these stupid 16's. :\
