love these ideas! thanks.

So what if it is. Everyone obsesses over something, whether it's some television series, or your children, or fashion. There are healthy obsessions and unhealthy obsessions. I choose to obsess over things that improve my life. :-)

Sounds good! I might try that out next weekend! Thanks for sharing.

I'm only about 12 or so pounds down, but definitely noticing it in my arms and waist the most. None of my pants fit, and my shirts/jackets are all comfortable (rather than tight) now. My boyfriend says my butt and thighs are looking hotter than usual too. ;-)

Love this post, new friend. :-)

My boyfriend and I are going to be Mario and Princess Peach. :-D

Sounds delicious. :-)

Also, by the way... I had a terrible experience with Depo too. Put me in the hospital for anxiety and severe depression. That **** is absolutely scary and should be taken off the market.

I have it. Absolutely LOVE it. Best decision ever. I had terrible migraines for years using birth control. But since I've had it (I got it in April), I haven't had a migraine since. I signed up for the payment plan on the Paragard website, so they charge me about $60/month for one year, which I thought was totally a good…

Girl Talk has free downloads on their website: http://illegal-art.net/allday/more.html So much fun to work out to. :-)

I like this thread. I'm going to steal some of these ideas. Lately I've been using: 1 cup Baby spinach 1/2 Cucumber 5 Cherry tomato halved 1/2 cup Alfalfa sprouts 1/8 cup Sunflower seeds 1/2 Avocado Dressing: 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp Bragg's liquid aminos. And for dinner I'll throw some grilled chicken…

Okay, here's the recipe updated with how I actually made it. Turned out super delicious, and the housemates all agreed. Super high in sodium, but japanese food tends to be... Maybe this can be adjusted with a modified set of ingredients? Sorry I didn't take photos, but it was really pretty too with the sprinkle of black…

and pizza.

I've never tried to do that with Nori? I'm thinking the sheets aren't supposed to be used that way. I found this website on all the different seaweeds: http://www.foodsubs.com/Seaveg.html I guess I would look into finding some different seaweeds online. I used Eden brand. Looks like Amazon sells it, but maybe only in packs…
-
Do you have a local health food store? My local co-op sells it, and you can probably buy it at Whole Foods. Dried seaweed, and then you rehydrate.

Avocados! Blueberries! Asparagus! Broccoli! Seaweed! Yum. I'm sure there are dozens more...

I'm in Ann Arbor. :-)

No way! I don't know how you people eat that stuff plain. BLAH! So gross. Way too sour. It's meant as a topping for greek style sandwiches with pita and meat, it's a greek sauce, like sour cream. I *love* Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt though. They come in 4 oz individual servings, and it's delicious with berries and some…

This is a good suggestion too. I'll look into finding a better deal on shoes, and maybe I can buy both...
-
Okay, I'm convinced. I'm getting some new shoes! I was leaning that way anyway. The Polar waits for Christmas. :-) Thanks everyone!

I think japanese is about as safe as you can get for restaurant food. There's not a lot of calories they can hide in sushi. It's basically rice, fresh fish, seaweed, and veggies. I usually go for salmon or tuna rolls, which are pretty simple. California rolls are good too. I like tempura shrimp rolls, but the fried part…

You can buy it at Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Any health food store with a bulk section usually has it. I *love* quinoa. So versatile, and much more nutritious than rice or pasta. You can basically substitute quinoa for any recipe with rice or pasta.

I've been doing 30ds, inconsistently over the last month, and I still feel much stronger than before I started. I try to go to the gym and run on the ellipticals on the days when I don't do the Shred, so that's working out well for me. I've only lost 4.5 pounds in 6 weeks, but I'm feeling healthier and fitter than I was…

My favorite flavor too!! I've been eating it lately mixed with steamed broccoli. Delicious!

Your welcome for my two years of unpaid service in Africa with those starving people. Good job for donating $10 so you can feel less guilty about living in a nation of gluttony.
-
As a returned peace corps volunteer, who has lived in one of these impoverished countries for two years in africa, I'm wary of large organizations who simply throw money and food at starving people. Money does not reach those who need it most, due to incredible corruption at the highest levels, and giving people food…

I like to make a salad dressing that is equal parts olive oil (or flax seed oil), lemon juice, and bragg's liquid aminos (which you can get at whole foods, or you can substitute soy sauce). Simple and delicious.

(I'm writing in response to the person who started this thread, by the way). Any of you other short ladies with healthy goals, can feel free to friend me.
-
I can relate to the short factor. I'm 5'2", and I'd love to weigh 120 pounds. But your goal at 5'2" is to weigh 88-92 pounds?!?! Sorry, but I definitely cannot relate to that.... That is not healthy, and I cannot support that.

I'm in a three year program, starting my final year this fall. Master of Landscape Architecture at University of Michigan. :-) YEAH!!!
