  • I was just talking about my general experience, nothing directed at the OP in the slightest. More the Ya-Ya Sisterhood that ran in here sounding like the audience at a Springer show.
  • Good for you. Judging by the outcome, there's no man that would make you happy anyway; Sounds like your issues were multi-faceted.
  • I'm with that guy. The freedom of shoulder rotation with DB's is fantastic. I still do a BB press once a month or so just to see if my max is increasing, but that's it.
  • My shoulders respond better to DB rather than BB, and I feel the stabilizers get a much better workout from the DB. DB is where it's at for just about anything.
  • This thread reminds me of that south park episode where they're on Springer and the woman's husband is disabled and all the trash in the audience is screaming that she needs to kick him to the curb. Maybe if I hadn't been so complimentary all the time, she wouldn't…
  • Nice. My deadlift is up to 540 but not getting any definition because I'm eating for gains. Might be time for a cut.
  • Depends on what your goal is. I do a program based on Wendler 5/3/1 which involves three extremely heavy, low rep sets followed by five sets of ten. This is on chest and shoulders, and my accessory lifts include lateral and forward raises, tricep skullcrushers and kickbacks, incline wide and narrow db press as well as all…
