Recent news is that 10 Fitness bought Powerhouse! I think you have to have the Plus membership to go to that one though. It is only about $20 a month. I have the cheap $10/month membership and love it! Joined last Labor Day when they waived the $50 joining fee. I wonder if they will do that this year?

I saw it! Good post.

Exactly!

That's what I was thinking, doesn't it depend on your BMR?

Doesn't it depend on your age, weight, and activity level? MFP recommends 1270 for me. Of course, the more cardio I do, the more calories are allotted on my plan. Today, I earned an extra 420 calories at the gym.

Just added the tortilla, black bean burger, .25 cup onion, 1 tbsp. guacomole recipe...250 calories.

Sounds yummy! Here's another idea...saute some frozen onions (for convenience), spicy black bean burger cut up, Ole' Extreme Wellness High Fiber wrap (heated), about 2 tbsp. wholly guacomole. Yummy, and filling! Can't remember the calories all together, but not bad at all for lunch or dinner.

I feel the same, but it is with my diet! Workouts are great because I have a workout buddy & we meet at gym at 4:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch are great. When I get home from work, the stress of helping kids with homework, getting ready for the next 4:30 a.m. workout, and cooking dinner for the family is too much. I graze on…

Look into the Body Bug. I also don't know much about it, but it seems to calculate EVERYTHING!!! My friend uses it, it even tells her how much sleep she got!!! I thought I saw them for around $200, not sure. One downside, she just found out that she has 3 months free for it, then the program is $10/month. I guess the…

It is interesting that the mobile MFP is so different than the one on the computer. My sister found that on mobile, you can really see the breakdown of nutrients. It took me time to figure out that I can only see that on my IPad. When on the computer, the nutrient breakdown only shows me a graph by specific nutrient. I am…

I'm a runner off and on. I have run as much as 7 miles. Right now, I'd be lucky to run 1 (recent plantar faciitis injury has really set me back). I recently started back using the Couch to 5K program. You should try it. It gives you a good idea of how much to run/walk to build to more running. I found it on the internet by…
