Talk to a naturopath is my best suggestion. Right now, I am helping my mom get better from her current autoimmune disease, and the only time she seems to jump back to feeling better is when we go Paleo. It's extreme, but it does the best job at starting from a clean slate, and then you can work back in foods to discover…

Hey! Looking at your diary it looks like it's a combo of not eating enough (you're in the negatives for calories in versus calories out, and your already at a 500-1000 calorie deficit from your maintenance calorie goal (TDEE)) AND you're not drinking enough water. With all that exercise, you can definitely expand your food…

Both my parents, although athletic, were susceptible to being overweight, so when I was really young and life was "normal," there was tons of focus on eating decent and exercising. I remember the nightly battle of how many bites of vegetables my sister and I had to eat and my dad saying "That didn't count. You need to take…

Kudos to you! I literally grew up on Diet Coke (it was the go to drink for my parents who were concerned about forming diabetes) and am hardcore addicted to it. Whenever I am trying to stop drinking it, I am pissier than when I'm pmsing, and the headaches are horrible. Now, I limit it to once a week, if that.... I just…

Consider me interested. Majorly interested.

I'm definitely in the same boat.... Let's be friends :)

Depends on calorie intake for the day, but I don't see why not.

Yes, really! :-) And remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so you may have been a half a stone lighter, but could be much more fit now. Again, jealous, lol.
-
Looking at your pictures, I wouldn't say the test was wrong, just not hyper-precise. You are very fit. Consider me jealous, lol.

The best and most precise way to get these measurements done is through the Bod Pod, but those are expensive. You're measurements on the scale will slightly change day to day, let alone hour to hour. The fact that there's only a 2 point difference between 3 days doesn't actually say much, but the downward motion in fat…

You're actually underweight for fat percentage, but you're water weight percentage is above normal (actually it's in the normal for men), which is still healthy.... I'm not a doctor, but I have these measurements done every month by my doctors because I am on a special weight loss system, so I am pretty familiar with the…

Yes, please!... And thank you for organizing this!

I've been known to buy plain greek yogurt and mix sugar-free jam, like Smuckers, in. It adds 10 calories and only 5 carbs, but granted the flavor isn't as sweet as the prepackaged ones, for obvious reasons.
-
I put in a couple tablespoons of sugar free maple syrup in my oatmeal with a dash of salt. It only adds 15 calories and is loaded with flavor. I don't miss pancakes/waffles/french toast anymore.

The scale is more accurate than the website. I've had my body fat percentage done at the doctors and at home, and my scale was right on with the doctors, so I'll take that over measurements put into a formula any day....

You have to find something you love to do and that is also active... Try dancing, swimming, volleyball, anything. Doing what you love is what makes exercise worth it. I kick myself every day for quitting swimming when I was little, and I am now looking back into it, even though I know I look like a whale. In the end, it'll…

Bump* thank you!

Definitely add weights to your workout routine. Lifting weights continues to burn calories way after you finish working out as your body repairs the muscles, keeps your muscle mass (which burns more calories as well), and drops inches like crazy because your body has to resort to "eating" the surrounding fat to maintain…

Congrats to the weight loss and keeping those fantastic curves! Big props!

Wow. Those are some crappy friends, and I can't imagine being in a scenario like that one. But, like you, I have been overweight my entire life. I have managed to maintain a diet for a week or two, do amazing, then I get caught up in life and fall off the wagon. On top of that, I lost my dad when I was a little girl, so I…
