Thanks for all your tips and advice. I think I will start out with a walk/run and move on from there. When I get home I'll give the Slim in 6 a go. Thanks again :)))

Hi Janet, congratulations on your weight loss... long may it continue!! I have bought some of the Slimming World recipe books which are good. The little book of lunches has some great ideas that you can even do for dinner. There's an extra easy recipe book that has a gorgeous chicken and spinach curry in it. A great meal…

Infomercial wise it seemed like the level of work out I could cope with (I am unfit and obese) and a hell of a lot less scary than the Insanity Informercials I've seen!!! But to be honest, what really persuaded me to buy it was the recommendation from my Aunt, as she is in her late 60s and not overly fit and I thought if…

Hi, I joined Slimming World at the end of April and I've lost 3 stone. I still have about another 4 to go though. My motivation is waning a bit. How are you all getting on?

The GP put me on anti inflammatories for a week and told me to rest it. This is really frustrating because I want to start exercising NOW!!!!! To be honest. I'd just love to get…

Wow - this thread is inspiring! I downloaded C25K over a month ago and then talked myself out of it - but am gonna definitely give it a go after reading that running while being quite a bit overweight is a real possiblity. I used to weigh 19 stone (am in the UK, 14lbs to a stone) - dropped 4 stone through changning eating…
