Dance-put on some fun music and dance, jump rope...just let your imagination go, and the kids will look forward to "exercise with Mom" time....

Everything that is being said here....it's not all or none, seldom is with much of anything.....I remember a time when eating fruit was so bad-don't do it, too many calories-too much sugar-blah blah blah....usually the person saying this was drinking a soda eating a bag of chips or munching on a candy bar. Anyway, I love…

I am just returning to myfitnesspal (yet again!) One year ago I was at goal, eating right, exercising and feeling healthy. But I had just lost my Dad Oct. 1st and celebrating Christmas Eve at my parents house without him there took its toll and I ended up very sick. Anyway-long story short, my adrenals crashed, my thyroid…

Looking forward to trying this one!!!

This ^ Both of those are great places to learn about your thyroid, and why TSH is unreliable when it comes to your thyroid. You can also find STTM on Facebook and great place to learn...good luck to you!

Hi Strawberry! I was just nosing around looking any posts about adrenals, mine crashed in December, and getting over it has been a long long process, I have gained 15 pounds since then, and still have adrenal crashes-just not as big as Decembers. Anyway, low sodium low potassium, pooling of thyroid hormones can all be…

You might see some fluctuation in your weight, but you are doing the right thing! A single cigarette burns about 10 calories, so it would depend on how much you smoked. But regardless it is awful for you. I quit this past Dec after many years of smoking, only because I had spent 6 hours in the ER trying to get my oxygen…

I was on Synthroid for over 2 yrs...I felt awful when I was on it. I have been on Armour now for just over a year and will never take Synthroid again. Check out stopthethyroidmadness for a lot of useful info. Good luck to you!

This ^ Just keep doing what you need to do for your health, but let him be....You have hurt his feelings and it will take quite a bit to get over. Sounds like you need to have a heart to heart talk, and let him know how much you love him, that is if you do....Best wishes.

Thanks for sharing this, I had to mix up a breakfast last night just to try it today. Didn't have much to work with, but I used what I had, old fashioned oats, yoplait light FF Banana Cream Pie, and 1/2 of a banana....Sweet but oh so yummy and I loved the texture-just right. Now I will shop with ON oatmeal in mind-Thanks…

See? it was old school! Thank you very much for the explanation....:)
-
This may be old school here, but I remember reading that your stomach will tell when you are hungry, your mouth will lie to you. If your mouth is trying to tell you that you are hungry, you are either experiencing a craving or you are simply thirsty....food for thought anyway!

I just love the stuff!

Just remember that you don't have to make yourself like anything, and that breakfast does not have to be a "breakfast" food. I typically eat cereal every morning, but once in a while I will enjoy a skinless chicken breast and a fresh tomato. Don't set yourself up to fail by forcing foods you don't like....no need for…
