Congratulations!!! That is fantastic.

I can see a big difference in your shape. I think you look great!

I think it depends on the person. I lost 20 lbs my first couple months on generic Zoloft. It is what spurred my weight loss. I know some people have had the opposite reaction though.

Congratulations!!!

Thank you for this. I increased my calories and my workouts this week and I've put on 3 lbs. I needed to read this post.

Will be doing Day 3 after I get the kids to bed. I'm super excited!

I have never eaten back my calories, but my weight loss has stalled and I'm giving it a go. I upped my cardio and strength training and I'm trying to eat back at least half of the calories and see if it helps.

I just really like this thread LOL

GNC Total Lean 25, the French Vanilla flavor. IMO it has the best flavor.

I drink at least one daily. Not really as a meal replacement but because I do not get enough protein in on a daily basis. Sometimes I have 2 if I'm really low and I need to up my calorie intake. Are you replacing meals or using the protein for "repair"?

I am down about 50 lbs since September. I have been relatively successful because I can no longer afford not to be. Once I started hitting the gym everyday, it became part of my life and now I ache for it when I can't go. Food is my nemesis. I eat too much or not enough...I try not to count every calorie and just try to…

I am not an expert but I weight train 4 days a week along with doing lots of cardio. I don't follow a program, I just familiarized myself with the machines the gym has and follow a 3-4 exercise per body part routine. Some days I do all machines, other days I do all free weights, and sometimes a combo of all of them. I work…

I cannot run after I eat. I have to run on empty. If I get up early enough I can have a protein shake but only if it's at least 2 hours before my run.

Hi, I completed the Shred and I have a very old knee injury. It was torture and a battle of wills but I completed all 30 days. I braced both knees every single time I worked out and immediately elevated and iced after each work out. It sucked, but I made it through and that spurred my weight loss and outlook on life :)

I agree with the strength training. It really helps to firm things up. You can do body weight exercises like pushups, arm dips, squats, etc. Also a set of hand weights can go a long way! There are tons of at home weight training videos on Youtube and the like. I also have a bad back. 2 ruptured disks and a bad knee. My…

Hi everyone! I'm joining in late because I just found the thread. I am going to do D1L1 tonight after the husband goes to bed. I did this workout last summer and have gone back to it here and there when my kids are out of school and I can't get to the gym. I've now hit a plateau and I think I'm going to do the gym and the…

My gym doesn't allow the sports bra only look, not that I'd dare to wear only a sports bra anyway lol. I wear a sports bra, UA moisture tank or tee, and UA shorts or pants depending on the weather.

I am going to restart the 30 DS. I did it and completed it last summer and then moved on to the gym and gave up my at home workouts. Kids are on vacation this week so there is no better time to restart. I'm planning on doing it along w/my gym work once the kids are back in school. Time to double time it now that summer is…

Thank you for the links. I've been improvising the workouts but I'm having mixed results with my choice of improvised products lol. I love the videos, but dang...they make me feel way out of shape lol.

Great job!!!

You look fantastic!

I dislike diet sodas of any kind so I limit myself to 1 high test soda per week. My poison of choice is ice cold Coke in a can, preferably cooled in ice. 2nd choice would be Dr Pepper.

SW: 222 CW: 180 GW: 145~ish Started losing in May of 2011. Had some ups and downs. Joined MFP in the summer, went down to 192 doing the shred, gained back to 200 during the end of the summer doing stuff with the kids and not working out. Since September 2011 I am down to 180.

Thank you for sharing the pictures ladies, you are inspirational! I didn't have a section but I had 2 pretty big babies (9 & 6) years ago and it's just a mess. Thank you!
