Do the smoothies. You can make those pretty calorific. Add some nut butters to your drinks as well. Peel some bananas, freeze them, and blend those in too.

How about you just have a bit and enjoy it? Also, no good reason to go off sugar. (assuming there is no medical reason)

This is pure inspiration right here!!!!

Get a second opinion.

Yeah, it's difficult to know the entire picture. Obviously I'm not a professional either. I do find all of it to be fascinating though.

I know someone that has been dieting for about 28 years, eating around 1300-1400 calories per day and weighs close to 300lb. I'll say that's a down-regulated metabolism. This is your average woman that has been dieting her whole life and at close to 50 years old is trying to eat enough to "reset" her metabolism so that she…

How is one shake an entire meal? 160 calories? That's barely a snack. Also, 17g of protein is nothing. Stop the shenanigans and call it what it is. It's an overpriced, unnecessary supplement. It's easier and more filling to get nutrients from food.

what? Are you serious?

Here it is! http://www.naturalnews.com/035070_diet_soda_weight_loss_aspartame.html Just drink the diet soda if you want one and get on with your life. So sick of all this "don't eat this, don't drink that. You will die from the beetus!"

I didn't even bother to read any of it. Dr Mark Hyman? Not quite as full of lulz as Mercola but close. This thread has been great. Mercola, Infowars, and Dr Mark Hyman. Now we just need an article from Natural News to complete it.

In my dreams :-) My back squat is 135 right now. Deadlift only 135 The most I've been able to bench is 75 But I'm working on it and that's good enough for me. ETA: I'm 5'6" 140lbs

I'm not sure why you posted this. You have already decided that you want to win a bet. I'll continue to eat all the carbs I want because they are delicious and I'm not stupid enough to bet on weight loss. This is no race and I like enjoying my food. Have fun gaining back your water weight when you have a binge. I'm going…

The only way to "kickstart" or "reset" your metabolism is to eat at your TDEE for a period of time. A period long enough to that your weight levels out and you are no longer restricting food. From there, you would take a small deficit to lose any fat you may need to lose. Small deficit as in up to 500 calories per day off…

There's nothing wrong with potatoes or carbs. Just fit it into your calorie goal.

I will not leave the house without drinking coffee with milk and never had any issues with the dairy. Now I'm not saying you should eat of bowl of cereal, that sounds like it might not settle well. I've never heard to avoid dairy before running. A piece of toast with peanut butter is great. A banana is great. ETA Good Luck…

I think it's bigger than diet or calorie deficit, it's way of eating. Also, as go kaleo said, you can't out-diet inactivity. And for metabolic health, exercise is where it's at, even if it's just doing some walking. If I had to choose between "diet" or being active, I would pick being active.

No. Not ok EVER. She only has 30lb to lose.
-
Good call ^^^^^ He's awesome! She won't watch though. She feels too good on her 500 calories/day diet. SMH
-
OP, are you coming back to defend yourself and your ridiculous diet? Give me one good reason why you would eat that little and I'll give you a lot of reasons why you shouldn't. ETA: Losing weight is not a good enough reason btw. You will gain it all back and probably more.

Thanks for posting this! (and all your posts) I really love that you have taken pictures all along, It's been an inspiration to me. You look fantastic and what a nice looking booty! :-)

lol. I didn't look at the date of your original post. You already had the surgery? Hope things are going well for you in your recovery. Also, great response here. I think I would have been ruder. :-)
-
I haven't read all the replies so sorry if this has been said. You only get one chance to recover. You have the rest of your life to lift heavy. This is a big procedure and you may not even feel up to lifting for 6 weeks. Follow your doctor's post op instructions like your life depends on it. Why would you want to risk a…

Back in 2006 I bought a lululemon hoodie for about $75 and it faded pretty darn quick, even with air drying it. I don't think I'll ever buy another lululemon product. not worth it. I wear Target, Old navy, and nike mostly. I don't buy white bottoms at all so I wouldn't even try them on to find out if they were see through.…

Yes to this. The magazines are loads of crap too.

ahahahahahaha Sorry, can't resist. That is funny.

I also agree except number 4. My guy and I use the same bench. It's especially helpful for me because as a female that doesn't have lots of upper body strength I really feel like I need a spotter for bench or I won't push myself to up my weight.

Wonder why this thread is OK but if it was a guy that posted it and it said "any other guys find skinny girls super hot" it would turn into a 20 page nightmare until the mods locked it. Stop comparing body types. I don't care if it's men or women.

anything not on the floor longer than 5 seconds It means whatever you want it to mean. Everyone has an interpretation. Figure out what foods your body likes and forget about food rules.

I eat Trader Joe's dark chocolate with sea salt and caramel. Sometimes I will also have a serving of hot cocoa powder mixed into greek yogurt. Life without chocolate is not worth living, IMO
