I use all natural oats (no sodium) with water to keep the calories low (150 cal for 1/2 cup uncooked). I have a Polor HRM that I got at a sports store. They run about 100 bucks. I usually burn about 200 cal in 30 mins of DVD's. Having the HRM gives you the accurate cal burn.

I used to go at 5 am so I could be home before my kids get up. Once you get used to it you'll like it. I love my coffee but It was making my feel nauseous so I switched to a small 8 oz protein shake. You have to have some thing in your stomach so you don't burn out half way through.

I like to make a big pot of homemade beans. Just plain beans with no salt. You can freeze the left over if you have too much. You can do so much with beans. They are low in calories and low in sodium. You can make a bean salsa salad, re fried, add them to a one egg omelet or just use them as a filler in tacos.
