I try to eat more lean meat (skinless chicken), protein shakes, protein bars, veggies of all kinds, lite or fat free yogurts, hard boiled eggs, plain oatmeal and really look at how the calories break down after you enter in a food item. I'm just starting to add my food. I've never been much of a calorie counter but my Dr.…

I was stuck on the same weight for 3 weeks. I have worked with a trainer before so I know that I'll loose inches before the weights comes off. Today was my 4th week weigh-in. I finally lost 2.5 lbs. Just keep in mind that we all loose weight differently. Push through the plateaus and you'll see it.

I do find that I'm way under my calories once I add my work out. I do better meeting my calorie goal is I break it down: 300 cal for breakfast , 300 for lunch, 100 cal three times a day for snacks and dinner is about 500 cal. I love making shakes at home with berries and good protein powder. Get a Bullet (about $40 at…

I'm a late night snacker too. I love the salty snacks. Its has been a major challenge for me. I had to stop buying the unhealthy snack. We eat dinner as early as possible (about 5 pm). I have my small snack, under 100 cal snack within 1/2 hr. Then I'll spend the next few hours drinking water to full me up. I also go to the…

How much do you exercise per week? Have you tried talking to a trainer or nutritionist? I know that I'll loose 2 inches for 1.5 lbs lost. The scale is the last thing to move for me. If you don't change up your eating and exercise then all you do is maintain or gain.

Eating a healthy breakfast is a good way to start your day. Try hard boiled eggs, oat meal or cream of wheat. They are solid enough to get you through the morning. If you are working out then you may have to increase your calorie intake to support the exercise. Make sure to log your foods that way you can see what kind of…

As you add your food and exercise the calories will adjust. If I burn 600 calories at the gym then I need to eat more to support the work out. Stay away from empty calories like soda, flavored energy water or energy drinks. I had to reprogram my brain on what is really good for you. Fat Free or Sugar Free doesn't always…

Me too!!! I have a challenge with my boyfriend. We started in the new year and it will end on April (4 month challenge). His goal is 20 lbs and mine is 30 lbs weight loss. I want to kick his butt so bad I can taste it.

I'm lucky to have a very motivated gym buddy. We meet at the gym 2 days on with 1 days off to rest. I do the 30 Day Shred on my rest days so I can keep up my motivation. So far I've been the same weight for the first 2 weeks of working out. I do feel like there has been some improvements in my ability to last longer and I…

Its so true. Your kidneys need the water. When I was prego with my son I was really sick during the whole pregnancy. I know have 3 kidney stones on each side because I got dehydrated too may time. Plus my nutrition was poor during the pregnancy. Its not worth the pain. Kidney infections and kidney stones are the worst pain…

You do really need the water to help flush out the salt and other bad stuff. Your urine should be almost clear. For every caffeine drink you have you need to drink equal amounts of water to counter act it. Looks like you need to find a way to intake more water. Get a water bottle that is around 32oz. just remember to fill…
