Exactly! I'm looking forward to getting my real rings resized when I get to goal. Yay!

Most of my "friends" on MFP are those whom I've met through specific threads, like challenges, etc. So I tend to keep up with them that way. I love having the newsfeed, but it does get awfully cluttered with how often MFPmember #1 has logged in and when MFPmember#2 hasn't logged into the site for 3 days....

Right now I'm wearing fake bling from Avon because I can't wear my real rings. My finger went from a 8.5 to a 7 and I'm only half way to my weight loss goal. I don't think my hubby likes it that I'm not wearing the real rings that he gave me, but he'd rather me wear the fake ones than lose the real ones at this point.…

I know the feeling.. it's so bad, I told my hubby that my next phone will be an iPhone... even if I have to switch carriers, LOL. But, I'm hoping the rumors about Verizon carrying the new iPhone are true... then I'd get to stick with them. I'm not due for an upgrade til Sept anyways on my phone... I really want to be able…

Count me in!! I have the dvd sitting by my TV and I have been scared to try it. LOL

Hi everybody! I didn''t do well at all last week! I went over on calories everyday! It was ToM and that is always so hard for me!!! I got back on the wagon today. I did go over on calories, but not by much and I made sure I got my workout in at the gym. I really want to get that scale moving again (in the downward…

Wow, I've been living off of Oikos for the past couple of months and if y'all are saying that's yucky... I really gotta find some Fage and give that a try! LOL

I know when I was working out with my trainer, she had me doing different muscle groups on different days and never the same groups back-to-back, except the core muscles..... So it might be good to do it every other day if this works on all the major muscle groups each day...just a thought. I haven't actually started yet,…

That is so hard for me too... and of course my hubby and my favorite place to go is an "authentic Mexican restaurante"... LOL.. so of course there's no nutritional information there. :grumble: So I struggle with it, but I try to choose things like salad or fajitas, generally, but every now and then, this girl wants her…

I had the lap band a year and a half ago, but I am now really starting to count calories. Luckily my band prevents me from eating certain foods that would normally be hard for me to resisit (bread and pasta), so that is a good thing. I strive to eat lean protein, fruits and vegetables, and limit my refined sugars. Having…

I bought it tonight and am looking forward to trying it!

I just bought the DVD tonight at Walmart, I got it along with another of her dvd's for when I can't make it to the gym. I'm looking forward to trying this in a self-inflicted-it's gonna kick my butt- but I'm gonna be happy when I finish it-kinda way. Thanks for the inspiration! Y'all are awesome! :drinker:

Today was pretty good. I stopped at the store on my way to work and got some healthy foods to have at the office to snack on. I get a horrible case of the munchies when I'm at work, I don't know if it's boredom being on hold so long, or staring at the computer or what... So, I got fresh fruit, carrots, reduced sodium…

I think that sounds like a great idea!!

Thanks for the suggestions! I think my MFP is messed up b/c my original post is in the middle of the thread... hmmm.. anybody else having those issues? :embarassed:

I got one a few weeks ago, and I love it! I need to check to see if it's waterproof.. might want to go swimming to mix up my exericse routine some. I got the pink one too, and while I absolutely  pink, I was nervous with this b/c it's so pale and the display model the store had was Grimy looking! ewww... but I do…

I'm in! My goals: 1. To lose 20 lbs by July 4th (that will put me under 200 ~ haven't been that light in over 20 years) 2. Exercise 5 days a week 3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day 4. Log everything I eat everyday 5. Stop the negative talk to myself and to enjoy the journey, not just look forward to the destination!

I love the Calorie Countdown Chocolate milk by Hood. It's lower in carbs than regular chocolate milk and quite tasty!

So sorry I missed weigh-in yesterday. I'm now at 219 (down 3 lbs from last week!) I would LOVE to be under 200 by July 4th. That's my short-term goal! What a great day to celebrate freedom and my freedom from the pounds! I haven't been under 200 since I was in middle school, 20 years ago! :noway:

That is awesome! I am so happy for you. I know I'll be doing the snoopy dance when I hit Onederland! I don't think I've been under 200 since middle school, so it is a huge deal! I totally get it! =) Way to go and thank you for being such an awesome inspiration for us here! :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the links! =)

I really want to try this program! I went out last night around my neighborhood and walked/jogged for 30 mins. I was able to do 8 jogging intervals of 30 seconds. It was my first ever attempt at anything jogging related, so I was fairly proud of myself for making the effort. I was disappointed that I burned fewer calories…

Thanks for such a great post!! You're so right. As long as the scale is moving in the right direction, I need to be happy with it! I haven't really set any "goals" yet, I seem to make daily goals, like water, exercise, food choices, and "hope" I get where I want to be in a timely manner. In the past, I've spent so much…

Looks like a neat site. Thanks for sharing.

I used to work for a grocery store salad bar and we made our fluff all the time. You can switch up the fruits and jello flavors and the possiblilities are endless. My favorite was always peach. Another option was "fuzzy navel" fluff.. LOL.. orange jello with diced peaches or peach jello with mandarin oranges in it.

How cute!! You're pretty awesome too! =)

I think running sounds like fun... but I'm terrified of the treadmill, LOL. Seriously, I have balance issues (due to deafness in one ear) so I rarely walk on the treadmill without holding on for stability. I don't think I can run on one and hold on at the same time. But I've been thinking about taking my workout outside…
