  • i LOVE 30 day shred! I did level one for 3 week straight.. I was so out of shape. Last night was my first time doing level 2 and not stopping!
  • Its pretty impossible to remove fat from certain parts of the body specifically. But just exercising will help with the all over effect. I have a 9 month old and a 3 year old and i do Jillian Michael 30 day shred dvd. Its like 10 dollars at walmart . its a 37 minute workout that you do daily, and i have seen awesome…
  • I will join i totally kicked butt in a july challenge and lost 10 lbs, Didnt get in soon enough for the august one :o(
  • I had to buy a different ft4 My first one was a soft chest strap, and the uni sex one is a hard strap? the soft chest strap didnt read right on my "large" frame. new one works great though!
  • Do you have a HRM. I know MFP and machines really over estimate calories burned. If you dont maybe buy one cant hurt to try! Good luck!
  • Keep with it! I Started about 3 weeks ago and I've lost about 3 inches in my waist, and Its helped me lose about 10 lbs so far! I do 30 day shred along with treadmill work daily. Im still having difficulty with level 2 but I'm larger so thats to be expected. Persistence pays off !
  • I have back issues my physical therapist says, Lay on your back and roll your hips forward ( without squezing your butt cheeks) this stretches out your lower back really well, also (the cat) stretch, knees and hands on floor and arch your back up, The first one works the best for me!
  • Windsor Pilates are great! I use them frequently. And they sell many many different kinds, Some that incorporate yoga as well. Plus you can do it at home!
  • I do Breakfast lunch and dinner, and 2 small snacks in between, Drink lots of water. It sucks in the beginning but with time eating 5 times a day will eventually become a task. ( for me anyway) Also if your exercising regularly don't feel bad about eating back some of your calories burned if your still hungry at the end of…
  • Its easier also if you just put it in as a recipe. You still have to enter everything in that you cook with and how much you used. and how many people you served with it. Another plus is that it saves it so if you eat it again, you dont have to enter it all in again.
  • Polar FT4 Is the most reasonably priced one out there that strictly monitors your heart rate and calories burned. Around 89 dollars at sears. IT has a chest strap, You wet it strap put it on under your boobs, and start your watch when your ready to work out, and you can see your heart rate and calories burned during your…
  • Some brands are better than others, and they are not completely accurate. But you have to make sure you wet the strap well enough, and that it is fit snuggly. if you have one with a strap. If its a pedometer one i wouldn't recommend those they are kind of crap. When i first got mine according to MFP i was burning way more…
  • My speed bump is aka my husband! I love him dearly but he makes it difficult sometimes,...
  • Welcome! We all are in the same boat! We can do it!
  • Great Job man!
  • I Exercise in the morning and at night time. I have a heart rate monitor and i seem to burn about 75-100 more calories at night than i do with my morning work out.
  • you absolutely can do that, My advice though would be to use a surge machine. it uses about 10 different threads ( like the seam that you see going up the sides of the suit. IF you just do single lines you run the risk of making holes and the suit tearing when it stretches. If you dont have a surge machine. i would do 3…
  • I dont think it has one for that, you should just invest in a heart rate monitor. One with a chest strap and then when your done with your work out you can just enter your calories in manually.
  • I do not eat my calories back unless my net is under 1000 then i will eat an extra 200. I drink alot of water a day like 12+
  • In my experience the machine is closer if you dont have a HRM. MFP is very giving in calories burned. I purchased a Polar FT4 its a chest strap and watch. 87 bucks at sears. It works great and my burn with that is more accurate to the machines than MFP
  • You could Steam it in some tin foil on the grill. and then Buy some Flat out bread and cut it in half, and put the fish in the "tortilla" with lettuce, and what ever else you like and have Fish tacos!
  • the only time i notice a huge difference is during my morning work outs. But i also take Blood pressure medicine before bed. So i think that is what keeps my heart rate super low during my work out in the mornings. Im not sure if you take any, but medication can affect your heart rate too.
  • The strap that comes with the FT4 is very comfortable, the part where the sensor is very soft, and it has a elastic band, I am larger so i thought it would roll up and such but it doesn't. I wear it under my clothes when working out you generally place it right under your boobs. You can swim with it also.
  • I did the same thing, When i got my HRM my calories were about 60 calories less than what MFP was calculating me at. Just made me work a little harder to hit my goals.
  • the polar ft4 is a watch that comes with a chest strap. It strictly counts calories, Its not a pedometer. You enter your age, height, weight ect.. and it tracks you heart rate while you exercise and converts it to the calories you burn during your workout.
  • I also have the Polar FT4! Works great.
  • I wouldn't Stress about it! I know that's hard to do when your expecting it. But stress can cause you to be late also. Just make an app with the OB to be sure. I have the mirena so its normal for me not to have it some months.
  • I Have 200 lbs to lose! Feel free to add me!
  • Im around your size alos ! I got a wide track treadmill and i still run into the side of the bottom sometimes, If it stops you may have to go a little faster, I usually do 2.0-2.5 for a half hour twice a day. I do it barefoot (im not sure if thats suggested) but it works and i have no problem with my feet or calves burning.
