There are more experienced people on the forum who can help you a lot more than me...but here is my quick advice. Try this: http://www.gymjunkies.com/home-workout-for-beginner/ Its basically a body weight strength training workout. From experience I can tell you that it is not easy and will defiinltey give you the…

Good job on the inches. I am seeing similar results...I havent lost any weight but have lost about 7-8 inches (overall) from my body and I am eating a lot :) p.s I workout hard too ;)

Thanks! I needed to hear the too. I am 5.4" tall and weigh 136 lbs. My weight is not my issue (though I have looked my best at 125 lbs of muscle and fat) however, I am facing similar issues where I am not budging on my weight loss for the past 2 months. I am not eating 1200 calories and am sticking between 1600-1800…

Personally I think the 2 HIIT AND running sessions might be too intense with the NROL workouts. I have been working out 3 times since this week and have no energy to do another session today so did light cardio (45-50 mins of mid pace walking) Your body does need some time to recover from these workouts but everybody is…

I have heard of both and done NROLW. I think they both work but have a little different way of looking at things. I recommend NROLW since its more slow paced and something you can stick with.

I loathe deadlifts!! :) I love them for their benefit but find them to be very awkward exercise. I am definiltey higher in weight in Sqauts compared to deadlifts and feel like its the grip thing that gets me messed up. Also, unless I am lifting the bar off the ground (for which you need to have 45 lbs weight on each end to…

Hi All, I am 33 years old and am a mother of 2 beautiful children Age 5 years & 11 months. I am 136 lbs at 5.4". I have never been fat but am apple shaped and have a tendency to gain weight if I don't watch the kind of food I am eating or get lazy on the exercise part. I LOVE to workout...it may strange but this…

Home made Turkey and bean chilli for lunch!

Awesome job!! You look very healthy at 120 lb weight. I am half way through your start weight and end weight....I still have about 15 lbs to go to the 120. May I ask what was your calorie intake and exercise regime to get to this weight? I think 4.5 months is very healthy time frame. The last 15-20 lbs are very difficult…

Anything fried in KFC. That place grosses me out. I love chicken and I love it grilled! They totally screw up the chicken and according to me it doesnt even taste nice. Calories....well I don't even want to know how many there are in an individual portion.

In the same boat as you. I am still nursing my baby and she is 10 months old. I am a full time working mama so if I am not nursing, I am pumping! I have about 10 lbs to go where I will be happy though I have been slimmer than that. 15lbs was my original goal and I have lost about 3 lbs since Jan beginning. Not a lot, but I…

The last time I lost the last 10 lbs was when I stopped nursing my son. After 12 weeks of active workout (bootcamp style) and watching my calorie intake I lost the 10lb and gained muscle. This time after having my daughter, I have been actively trying to loose the weight the same way...well maybe a little less rigid on the…

I found these great excel sheet template for NROLW online (you need to own the book since it is password protected and the password is words on the book!) but it is a great tool and I dont have to carry the book. I just carry 1 sheet with me everytime I go lift. As for how you feel in the gym. Serioulsy, just go like you…

I am fan of Think thin too...You can order them on Amazon.com or even QFC carries them. Last month they had a sale for 1 bar/ $0.99. I think they usually go around $1.30 or so. I bought a lot of them and really enjoy them. They are Gluten free and almost taste like a candy bar :)

1. How long you've been trying to lose weight? 1.5 month 2. What's your exercise routine? HIIT classes 2 times a week flow yoga 1 time a week NROLW (weight lifting) 2 times a week 3. Calorie intake? 1650-1900 4. Your loss so far? 3 lbs, 6 inches total.

Loved how you are totally loving yourself. very few people can truly appreciate their own bodies. Good job girl!

You look fabulolus. I am the same height as you and after I had my son, I was also around 118 lbs and looked mostly like you (your abs are awesome though!). I had my daughter about 10 months ago and am now around 135 lbs. I am also trying a combination of weight training and HIIT to get to where you are. You are truly an…

Wow! you look amazing. Your results in R in 30 really show the definition even though you didnt lose a lot of pounds. Good for you girl! So glad the hives are away for now, can't even imagine how you would be feeling after being pumped with so much of that crappy anti-histamine. Good luck!

Good luck with your journey..I am sure you will have great pics out there soon!
-
You look great. I can totally see more definition in your waist and upper body! Good job I am about 8 lbs heavier than your starting weight and am about 5" 4' tall. Can you tell me approx how many calories are you eating in a day? I have been working out pretty actively (3 days a week of HIIT & some other sutff). I have…

I have used Chia seeds in the past and I really love them, even just in water though in almond milk were much more palatable! So besides all the health benefits (fiber, protein etc.) do they really help you loose weight? I know they are supposed to keep you fuller and I think they did but is there any other science behind…

Thats awesome!!! 30 DS is an awesome video and so is 30 DR. Did you modify your diet at all or still ate like before along with the exercise?

My favorite way to wat cottage cheese (which I love btw) is over a WASA cracker or even as a dressing for my salads. But that's not what you asked :) 1. Brocolli (can probably eat it steamed but not a fan of raw) 2. tuna from a can (hate that smell)

Ok so I have a question. I have done NROL4W before and I loved it. I gained a lot of strength and muscle (not defined yet as I went back to old habits of cardio). Anyway my question is the last time I started doing heavy weights, I was at near perfect weight for my height. 5" 4' and about 120 lbs. I maintained my weight…

There needs to be a "like" button on these threads. Thanks a lot for your suggestions everybody. You guys have the best ideas.

I TOTALLY agree with this. I have lost a decent amount of weight before and kept it for 4 years. I have definitely done this before and I know that it works. Spike days are good to have and totally trick your body to avoid plateaus. I just don't want to have 2 of them :) I will give this a try. The problem (or not really a…

Love the suggestion. I do tend to eat under my calories sometimes over the weekday but mostly consume them all. I think if I am able to get some kind of a workout in over the weekend and 'enjoy' the food part by managing the calorie intake over the weekdays I should be able to handle it a little bit better. I also think…

Oye! same here...I am actually not seeing a lot of weight loss. My clothes are feeling are a litte lose and I think this is a combination of sleep deprivation (very choppy sleep for 7 hrs) and NOT logging in my food everyday in MFP. I think I can control one of these devils at least. As for the sleep I am just going to…
