I'm DD too and I run. As has been suggested , a good sports bra will help.

Hi everyone, only just found this thread. Great to find a place for the over 40s :)

No, you look great, don't worry! Maybe they just need time to get used to the new you.

Seriously, you look great , so please don't feel disheartened. I am losing weight too and have a little left to lose. I am a little concerned about my tummy too but have come to terms with the fact that you need to be patient. Keep doing what you're doing. Lifting weights can help but I'm not sure about lifting at your…

Love kettlebells, use kettlercise and kettlebell bombshell.

Hi. Yes 1-2 lbs a week is realistic. You may well lose more some weeks but to aim for this amount is good, slow but steady wins the race!
-
I'm 5ft 11 and I am aiming for 165. However I am 177 at the moment ad this is a healthy BMI ( just!)

Definitely check out the couch to 5k plan. You can get free plans or podcasts at the uk NHS site or there are apps for mobile phones which tell you when to walk and run. You can repeat a week if you have found it difficult so building up to running can be done slowly. It's how I started running. When I first started I…

Oh no, people are talking about thigh gaps in a positive way again.

Lack of iron can mean you feel tired a lot, lacking in energy. It also affects your immune system so you catch viruses, colds etc more easily. I have had iron deficiency so take iron daily to build up my iron.

You look great, really healthy and happy. Well done!

OP, please listen to all these people telling you to eat more, they are right! You don't need to eat way more ,but if you do it will make it a lot easier to maintain the weight loss in the long term. There are no quick fixes!

Thanks for answering again. My TDEE -20% was 1479 ( desk job with little exercise). So I worked out the weekly calories by multiplying this by 7 which brought me to 10353 calories. I subtracted 1200 calories for my fast days which brought me to 9153 calories. Then I divided this up between the remaining 5 days which meant…

Ok, thanks. I only worked out TDEE-20% to know how much of a deficit I needed calorie wise. I haven't actually given myself a double deficit.

Hi TavistockToad, thanks for your advice. I realise I may be complicating things using two methods, but prior to starting 5:2 I was just using MFP to calulate my daily calories, and unfortunately this will not work if you are doing 5:2. So I used the TDEE calculator to see how many calories I should be eating then divided…

I used Scooby's TDEE calculator and put the activity level in as desk job with little exercise. I suppose this is not strictly TDEE. This gave me the total for the week. I then took off my fast day calories then divided the remaining calories by 5 to work out my calories for the other 5 days. As my exercise level can…

As Faye_Anderson already said, MFP builds a deficit into your allowance , so if you don't eat back your exercise calories you are creating too large a deficit.
