Runna!Looking for running buddies to friend!
I've been using Runna to get back to running. I completed several 10k runs around 10 years back now. I have had bouts of ill health since then but am now better and ready to get back in the saddle! Currently doing the Runna 5K plan, on treadmill and outside. Anyone else in a similar position?

Sore muscles...exercise or not?
I did a kettlebell workout after a long break from it the day before yesterday and my leg muscles , particularly my hamstrings, are very sore. I rested yesterday but am trying to decide whether to go for a run today or not. I really should, but is it the right or wrong thing to do? Thoughts?

Advice on calories to consume for TDEE -20% and fast days.
Ok, so I am going to try TDEE-20%. I used scooby's calculator to help me. As I do two fast days at around 600 cals, on my other days my goal is around 1800, which seems a lot to me, but I am going to try it and see what happens. 30 Day Shred....weights to use?
For those of you doing 30 day shred, what weights do you use? Initially I used a couple of baked beans tins, now I use 2kg ( 4.4lb) dumbells. When I read about all you heavy lifting women out there it seemed a bit pathetic!!! Should I be trying to lift more?

NSV: completed my first race!
Ran my first race ever today, the Bristol 10k in 1hr 4 mins. This is such an achievement for me as last June I couldn't even run 1 minute.
