Hi! My name is Renee, and I am from Dallas, Texas. I have about 70 pounds until I reach my goal, but I am trying to lose as much as possible before I go on vacation in October, so it is time to get serious!!

i am doing six days...i was busy cleaning our house last night for company this weekend, so i didn't get the workout in last night. i am going to use yesterday as my one rest day instead of sunday. i did get up this morning and complete day four for me. now, if only i can do it again tomorrow, i will be golden. i am doing…

i think that is a good suggestion. i just started a thread called start it up. i have not gotten to the ramp it up yet but feel free to start a thread for those of you that are. i will start it next week! i am new to leading a group...or being a part of one for that matter, so any suggestions you have are much…

YAY!! Welcome to the group!
-
amen to that!

i love my polar monitor!
-
good job!! so proud of you! i had to motivate myself to get it done before i went out to dinner with my husband to watch the michigan/virginia tech game...it did help me make me a better choice at dinner!

i just noticed that you said you did 40 minutes of workout...my start it up workout was only 25 minutes...probably because it is from 2002. that could be the discrepancy in calories.

i changed the spreadsheet to where everyone can enter their own info!

below is a link to the spreadsheet i created. i have added those who have posted so far. let me know if i missed anyone!! don't worry the spreadsheet is private unless you have the link. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgHXEYHij-9sdDNPUDBBNlh6cEZ2M2tFendhZFNLUlE

i have a polar heart rate monitor that i use. i like using this because as i lose weight i adjust what i currently weigh before i workout since it effects the calories burned calculation. i feel like i get a more accurate reading this way, but i am a little ocd with the numbers...i am a tax accountant for a living. :)

i just weighed myself and i was down 3 pounds to 188.4! not bad for not doing anything and surviving the holidays without being too conscience of what i was doing! so with this new knowledge my goal for the six weeks is 18.4 pounds. that will take me to 170. i am 5'3" so my goal weight is more 130 - 140.
-
that is interesting. i am going to email someone from my fitness pal to find out how to set this up for our group. thanks for the info!!
-
to be honest, this is the first group i have been a part of and definitely the first group i have led. have you been a part of a group that did this in the past? how did they do it?
-
i am going to 15. that would put me in the 170s, which would be amazing. i have not weighed in a few weeks but plan on getting that done first thing in the morning.
-
hey everyone! i just set up the group and you should have all received an invite. if you didn't the link is below. so excited to start the new year off right with all of you. don't forget the first work out starts tomorrow. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/1701-slim-in-6-challenge-1-2-12-2-12-12
