I have weight watchers scales to, they are very good. My weigh in day is Sunday morning, that way it forces me to try to be good on a saturday night which is usually when i go out for food with friends.

You just have to do what you think is best, though some people may just be trying to help rather than being mean. If they really are just trying to bring you down then ignore them, that's what i do, they maybe just jealous that you are making an effort to resolve your unhappiness. Ok, just one more question, based on a few comments on this thread, should i be aiming to use the extra calories that i gain through exercise? Currently I don't, unless I'm on a treat day, instead i just bank them as extra calories off?

Hmm, i'm more confused now, should i be trying to eat calories that i earn whilst exercising? I mainly just try to aim under my daily allowance but i exclude exercise calories as i see this as additional calories off?!?

Ok, thanks for all the comments. It seems like most people experience the same thing, but eating close to the goal is the main suggestion and not to eat too little too often which is what i do try to do. It really is nice to have a community that can answer these questions maturely. Thanks again.

I cancelled my gym membership and bought an exercise bike and some small weights as that's all i used anyway. On top of that i play squash, badminton and i cycle when i can. I recently bought a slam man using the money that i had saved on gym membership, and its a really good workout!

I would never cheat on my partner, and to do it because of any weight gain or weight loss has to be the biggest insult to somebody you supposedly care about. People should have the courage to break off a relationship before finding somebody else!

Hi, This is my first post on here, i normally don't post on community stuff either but im struggling a bit myself. I gained 3lbs last week even though I ate well (apart from one day) and exercised during the week to. However this week I lost 5lbs and I only did a few extra exercise classes. Perhaps its a case of gaining…
