Also doing the 5:2 diet. week 3 for me and lost 7lbs so far. Find it quite easy to stick to as long as i dont eat until tea, otherwise i find i crave food too much. Do you guys stick to the MFP calorie allowance during your non-fasting days? i do, just curious what others do.

I have a couple of cups a day, no flavouring though. Also no milk or sugar. Not sure if I have stalled as such but weight loss is a lot less than the first two weeks despite being on induction. I should probably stop having the atkins bars to...

'eating that quantity of fat is likely to give too much unhealthy fat, that's asking for artery clogging ' ^^^ Not true if person sticks to mainly unprocessed foods 'The recommendation would be made for someone on a low carb high fat diet. You can't eat potato chips and losing weight, but you can eat bacon and lose weight…

I used to go to the gym but membership was expensive, and so i purchased an exercise bike and decided to just work out at home. 2 years later i have added to the bike a treadmill, punch bag and rowing machine and hand weights. If you have the space look at home gym stuff as it can work out cheaper if you intend to keep…

Hi Peter, We seem to have a similar goal to lose, although I got down to it close last year I went away from MFP and put quite a bit back on, but fortunately I had some good friends on here and they got me back on, and now i'm losing again. All are welcome to add me. Darren

My gf does weight watchers and I use this. For me calorie counting is easy, where as it can take her ages to find the point value of something, esp if we are out for food. I love that I can scan bar-codes to track my food and its so much easier to try to stay under a calorie goal than a point system.
