  • Ah! I loved zena!
  • Daria. I'm lame, I know
  • I'm digging your beard (which is strange b/c generally speaking I'm not into beards) and also you look tall and broad shouldered which is always sexy
  • I think you already know what you need to do. You need to cut it out. Whether you substitute it with a lower calorie option or remove it all together, you need to get rid of the c*ap. Time to buckle down. You can do it one step at a time, one day at a time. And for god's sake drink water. Over time you get used to it. Just…
  • lol, the second one. Forgive me, but your puppy is so cute!
  • Weight lifting gives me a huge confidence boost. Not only do I look better, but more importantly, I feel stronger and more in control of my body and how it works. I like having someone tell me that I'm "impressive, as always" after completing a challenging routine *thank you unknown gym girl!* I'm busting my a*s to look as…
  • if you only have 20 minutes or less, try out the zuzana light: http://www.youtube.com/user/ZuzkaLight She has super intense, very short workouts using mostly body weight. I recommend them highly because it's a lot of strength training AND cardio in a short amount of time.
  • your suit is very suave!
  • I've found taking a week off from weight lifting often results in an increase in strength for me. I do it when I start to feel weak during my lifting sessions even with a day or two off. So perhaps once every two months or so. If nothing else, it makes ME feel like I've moved forward and thus increases my motivation to…
  • Some days I love it, some days I hate it. It probably took me at least three months for the "love it" side of things to begin happening. It's really a question of where I'm running (outside, someplace challenging and beautiful), how much pain I'm in (injuries) and if my heart rate is staying low enough for me to get a…
  • hmm myspace throwback pic. I'd dig it but the cleavage doesn't show your progress!
  • I feel that a finely shaped male buttocks is to be encouraged ;P
  • run a half marathon, then a marathon, and perhaps an ultra marathon
  • Preferably using an HRM, but you can assume that you are burning between 80-120 calories per each mile depending on your fitness level, weight, etc.

  • bump. Seriously guys, I know you have tasty recipes.
  • I got a Ninja for Christmas. It's great!
  • I found (someone with some bad issues, like I've gone four weeks without issues) that I try to get in at least 35 grams of fiber, lots of healthy fats, and lots and lots of water.
  • Fage is less bitter than the other brands that I've tried except for wallaby, but I don't see that one much. I like the less bitter ones because I don't like all the sugar that's used in the flavored variety, so I buy plain. this way I can add fruit and granola but nix most of the sugar.
  • you can make your own manicotti by basically making your own crepes. Trust me, it's very easy. and I stuff it with ricotta cheese, oregano, mozzarella, spinach; top with marinara and a bit more cheese.... so not the best but asparagus is in season and I see no reason not to use it!
  • In only 90 days!!! I'm so glad you are seeing results. I know you have a long way to go, but let me congratulate you on your loss thus far, and the changes you've already made to your lifestyle! Don't give up! You'll reach your goal in time. Seriously, great work.
  • depends. did you eat beforehand? what did you eat? I know I get a headache when I am not drinking enough. I also get a headache from warming up too fast, or cooling down too fast. It could be unrelated to your drinking/eating, a freak occurrence, or it could mean that you should pay attention to when you get headaches and…
  • Woah, people! it was a joke! She was implying that a nice tummy is made by the food that you eat. You have to see your tummy muscles by losing the fat. I know we are self-conscious about weight, but we are grown-ups here, surely we can get over someone joking about weight loss. In the land of the internet, it is important…
  • anything that requires core work will help. I rather like zuzana light's youtube workouts. They involve a lot of core and cardio work using your body weight. If you have fat on your stomach then "toning" won't matter to your outward appearance, in which case cardio and weight lifting is necessary
  • I'm adding to the general chorus of this being a bunch of bs.

  • http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ use it. never go below it because that is how much you need to simply stay alive.
  • mmm, I love my vibrams. Just a suggestion- don't jump to a minimalist shoe all at once if you are seduced by the idea. You can get some nasty injuries from your body being used to a shoe with an inch + heel. I'd stay away from the so-called toning shoes. There is really no research in support of their claims to firm up…
  • I changed my shoes to... no shoes. Only then did my tendonitis go away. I had it for about 6 months. I would get it really bad, stay off my foot until it healed, start running again, then get it again. It was all very frustrating. I don't expect you to nix the shoes like I did, but it was the only thing that helped me.…
  • I'm switching over. I did too much too soon (when combined with my other high impact activities) and ended up with a stress fracture. So now I'm 8 weeks out of that and trying to ease back into running. Not quite healed, but I really think barefoot is the way to be. I run completely bare or in vibrams bikila.
  • Nope, definitely not right. One large egg is like... 90 calories?
