Not so much a success story as an ongoing progress. This is three weeks into getting back from 1-2 days at the gym to 6 days a week with a lifting routine in place. I'm entering my fifth week today so I'm hoping I'll actually see the scale move one of these days.

I belong to one because it's cheap. Mine has plenty of free weights but no squat racks. NO SQUAT RACKS! Also the no Olympic lifting rule is stupid.

*frowns* I don't understand this. You don't like coffee... have you tried tea instead? You can have tea with equivalent caffeine zero calories. I hate coffee so I just drink tea. Black, green, white, red- it's all fantastic.

I simply refuse to buy it. If it's in my house I make peanutbutter nutella bananas and there is just no excuse for that.

I just ate a smoked salmon wrap with tomato, lettuce, horseradish sauce, capers, red onions, and hard boiled egg. No guilt here... but now I'm craving sweets o.o

hmmm, I find treadmill workouts to be much easier than outdoors. I put my treadmill on a 3% incline, but it's still terribly different from outside. Granted, I do run on rolling outdoor trails with rocks, but even the pavement feels more difficult.

I just want to note that the term "lift heavy", unless we are talking true body builders, is probably used to indicate heavy to the individual in question. I know I say that I "lift heavy" but this means that every day I am challenging MYSELF to complete 6-8 reps per 3 sets. Heavy is relative to what I am capable of doing.…

I think different exercise produces different benefits. I'm of the party where I think cardio is great for me. The only time I really see a difference in myself is when I'm hitting cardio long and hard (snicker). mmmmm I love go lean crunch! And no, I do not have that problem, but I also consume at least 35 grams of fiber per day so I'm more than used to getting that much fiber in a serving. If your body isn't used to a lot of fiber, a sudden increase will cause loose stool. If you build up to it, it shouldn't be a problem.
